Ipoh Sony Centre seems to be fine. I think they already fulfilled some of the pre-orders from November. I ordered early December and it seems I m next in the queue but their "temporary receipt" seems shady. Is issuing a temporary receipt a standard procedure for all sony centres? Also, what if they suddenly tell you "the SRP is now RM2000 so you have to top up RM200"?

I wonder whats the real reason for the holdup in stocks other than the fact it's less profitable to sell at MYR1800 now due to high USD-MYR. I mean, sooner or later they still need to fulfill those pre-orders at MYR1800 and set the new SRP. It is as if they are waiting USD-MYR to decrease enough for them to remain the MYR1800 SRP.

Make sense. Also, I would get slim too if not for my insecurity issues. Its for a stupid reason called "better safe than sorry". In two, three years time I would most probably question myself - why did I get the pro instead of the slim? I had a vita and i regretted buying it. I just hope they wont fuck up final fantasy vii remake and delay it for PS5 like they did XV for PS3. Anyway sorry for your case with that preorder bro, fuck those people. Hope u get to make a police report soon.

Haha i guess they probably wont delay it much, since it is episodic. Just hope they wont make first bombing mission = 1 episode. Worst come to worst, we can play FFXII HD remaster while waiting for it haha. FFXII is a good FF imo.

Haha while majority will agree certain FF titles like VII, VI or IX is good, the opinion on FFXII has always been very divided. Maybe even more than FFXV. I liked FFXII cause amidst modernization of FF games, it is still able to retain the turn-based element of JRPG and made sense. Battle still feel quite fluid. Too bad FFXV is meant not just for the japanese, but mainstream market so they pretty much cant make the way "old fans" like it.

On a unrelated note, felt like FF lost huge chunk of the magic ever since Nobuo left.

I was doing end-game grinding, havent gone through the final dungeon and boss whatnot, then suddenly got some huge work commitments , cant play, 1,2 months later when i come back to it i was like "fuck. game is saved by my brain resetted everything i remember about the game".

Then i straight go for Lightning Returns, same shit happen again, but i was only 20 hours in.

Game didnt felt great enough for me to try to slowly pick up from where i left.

Got my unit from Ipoh Sony Centre, these guys are actually quite honest about the arrival date of stocks. However, they might be overcharging for extended warranty. Is it true that 1+2 warranty is priced at 250 now? I mean, its RM159 here: http://www.sony.com.my/microsite/sony-extended-warranty/ . They told me starting Jan 2017 the price was updated. Anyone here can confirm? I hope I am not conned by Sony =.=

Congrats! Sony Centre Ipoh charged me RM250 although I was very skeptical about it. Gonna go complain after CNY.

Yeah I didn't complain when I first got it because up until earlier, I had no other sources to compare against the price they charged.

I am pretty sure if sony updated the price, it would be reflected on their site. But i gave them the benefit of the doubt since they did fulfill the pre-order.

Not sure if anything could be done at this stage though since someone mentioned earlier there is difference between sony store and sony centre. Maybe sony centre is allowed to mark up the price.

Yeah. I decided to just submit a complain ticket on their website.

Also, the sony store sold me a R2 disc when I they say is R3.. careless didnt check it.

I have a R2 account but damn I think R2 stuff in PSN is the most expensive.
