Looks like Sony centres in KL/Selangor area can get some stock of Pro.

Those of us in other states probably very hard to get, me in Melaka especially. No choice but to wait patiently for Gamehypermart. I still have my first gen PS4, so it is not too bad. Though I'd rather keep the better games to be played on Pro next year. Still not sure how long can tahan seeing the FF XV there in my shelf without playing. For now I'll be patient.

No, so far haven't ask them. I think Sony centre should be the one in Aeon bandar raya. Kind of far from my place so lazy to go there.

Well IMO getting the Pro doesn't mean you need a 4K display device. Personally I am one of those who is upgrading from PS4 to PS4 Pro for higher FPS and better quality at 1080p. I know Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of the games that have that kind of mode.

Also, gaming on monitor is not that bad at all. I have always game on a monitor. I own a gaming PC with monitor and a 3 piece speaker. When I change from PC gaming to console gaming, it is just very convenient to have both my PC and PS4 (or PS3 back then) connected to my monitor so I can continue gaming from both devices. You'll probably need a different connection to for audio output though, cause monitor don't have speakers. I use the optical port and a converter. Sony stupidly removed the optical port in the Slim version.

The setup for monitor and TV is different I guess. For TV, ideally you want to sit further away and use a bigger TV. For monitor gaming, you should be using it just like you are using a PC. Meaning you should be sitting right in front of it. Well that's my take anyway from a former PC gamer.

Still waiting for my Pro though, god damn Gamehypermart. I probably will only get it after Chinese new year.

Nice to see that there are some stock around. Anyone else like me still waiting for their Gemfive PS4 Pro from freaking Game Hypermart? Next week January already, they better have some update.

Btw, for those who regularly buy games from Gemfive, any latest vouchers you guys use? I see now all 12% discount only. I have so many want to pre-order, but no good vouchers to use. And no money liao.

Just wondering bro, since you have some contacts in the industry, do you know anything about what's up with Game Hypermart? I contacted them today. Apparently they are surprised other shops get stocks, they said they didn't hear anything from their supplier. It is really weird that literally every other shops get stock, albeit a little, but they didn't get one unit also... I am just wondering if I am wasting my time waiting for them. Are they in a dispute with Sony or something?

It really is disheartening, to wait three effin months, and be told "sorry, we cant get stock". F*** you Game Hypermart, I am boycotting them from today onwards, never buying anything from them ever again.

But I'm just really salty now, cause everywhere pre-order expect March/April. What's even worse even shops famous in Lowyat like Heavy Arm also say price may change. So no guaranteed RM 1799. I don't really know what to do right now. I feel it is pointless ordering for March/April when price is not even confirmed and locked.

They don't charge cancellation fee, I confirm with Gemfive already. They told me 5 working days, to return payment to my CIMB account. I used online transfer to purchase last time.

It is RM 100 + postage (RM 16 in my case) more expensive than standard price, but I'll take it. It is worth it if can get before CNY or just after CNY.

Oh damn, so fast out of stock. I ordered about 2.15 pm like that, I click so fast, I didn't note down their banking details. I spend the next twenty minutes contacting them on Facebook to get their bank account number lol. I still haven't bank in though, tonight will bank in.

At the moment not getting any 4K TV bro. I am one of the weird ones who buy the Pro mainly for improved 1080p experience lol. Kind of like Rise of Tomb Raider, they have two modes for 1080p, improved graphics or improved FPS. I am mainly aiming for those and hoping future games will have more modes like these.

4K probably in the future though, cause I will need to move my entire gaming setup if want to fit in a 4k TV/monitor in my place.

Great to hear I am not the only one haha! Too bad I can't afford VR right now. This upgrade from PS4 first gen to PS4 Pro will probably cause me around RM 1000 at least, depending on how much I can sell my first gen PS4 later. But if it improves visual and gameplay smoothness then it is worth it. Can hopefully last 2-3 years which by then maybe PS5 come out already.

Hey guys, I have been trying for the past two hours to transfer data from my old PS4 to my PS4 Pro. I have both of them connected to the Wifi internet. Problem is the PS4 Pro cant detect the original PS4, I have no idea how to fix it. Both are connected to Wifi but Pro just wont detect the original.

If anyone of you have any idea what I could do, please advise. My Wifi is hidden and password protected but I don't think that should matter as both are already connected to internet.

Edit: Manage to clear the Wifi issue, some Wifi settings. Now I face another problem in the next step. It says hold power button for 1s, but if I do that erm... the old PS4 shuts down instead. Damn I am farking noob man.
