Thinking of upgrade my HDD for my PS4 slim from holiday bundle (500GB).

I'm looking at Seagate firecuda 2.5" 2TB SSHD (ST2000LX001) 7mm height, anyone use before or any opinion on this?

Maybe the pricing could be more than RM2000 becoz my friend told me USD-MYR will increase up to RM4.80 this year  bangwall.gif

Anyway the current rate of 4.5 if you convert using usd399.99 its rm1800, don't see why Sony needs to increase the PS4 pro price

Anybody used this LG 49" 4K TV Model 49UH610T for PS4 Pro?  icon_question.gif What I can say here it's was HDR 10 as their website http://www.lg.com/my/tvs/lg-49UH610T
Isn't true it can support HDR 10? which is using 10-bit instead of 8-bit panel bcoz the price for this TV was really cheap right now which I can get it only RM1911 on Lazada  blink.gif

Just so just to confirm, the key difference buying PS4 overseas is only warranty issues, right? no problem playing game bought in MY, or PSN account issues etc?

Thanks sifus for confirmation!

Nope, no difference. Unlike past consoles (or Nintendo's), there is no region lock. So the only difference is warranty. Which in my 25 years of gaming, never had the chance to claim. Even if my console spoil it's always way past warranty period... cry.gif

There is one small difference. I just remembered... the X and O could be swapped. Asia regions usually have O as confirm and Western countries have X as confirm. Small adjustment but some might feel is important as well. There's only one game out of like the thousands that have come out with an issue of X/O, it's Trine 2 on the PS3. The US region has different confirm and cancel but the menus for some reason did not swap the buttons so you could not level up. But I think for PS4 all these issues are mitigated by having the controller inputs based on the game and not on system. There's another game that I was streaming that I was complaining about weird button inputs... can't remember what now. Will remember later.

Just remembered... Dishonored 1 on the PS3 didn't change the button prompt from what was shown on screen if you played the R1 game on an SEA console.

GG for those who order from Game Hypermart.

QUOTE
Dear Customers,

First of all, a big thank you for your continuous support even after the constant delays. We at Game Hypermart appreciate your patience and understanding dearly as it means a lot to us to have customers such as yourselves to continue believing in our service.

Unfortunately not every story comes with a happy ending. After our meeting with Sony Malaysia, we received a disheartening message that PlayStation 4 Pro inventory will only be stable after 1st quarter of 2017, tentatively on April. The word "stable" was emphasized strongly but no exact quantity is stated.

In regards to this, we would like to apologize for the Playstation 4 Pro incident. In the beginning, we were informed that units will be allocated to us on the launch date, then several different delay dates were communicated to us - Nov 2016, Dec 2016, Jan 2017 and now, April 2017; and all these dates were ended up being empty promises.

To our loyal customers, we understand the frustration of being delayed, as such, we would like to no longer take more of your time and propose two options for your consideration.

You may choose from the following:

1. Swap to PS4 Slim 1TB + one PS4 Game + PSN RM30
2. Cancel the pre-order and get a full refund

Please reply to this email for your option choice along with your order number for us to process it.

Should you need any further clarifications feel free to get in touch with us.

*Note: The standard refund process should take 14 working days but for this we try our best to expedite it to 7 days if possible.

Warmest Regards,

Game Hypermart

Actually I'm quite enraged at their reply. Waited for many months already and suddenly the final offer by them is either refund or get the ps4 slim. I already bought a ps4 slim while waiting for the PS4 pro from them but this email really f***ed things up.

Yea same.
Lesson of the day... never pre-order from non-PAD in the future anymore.
Sony Center is always your best bet, with fixed RRP.
