I didn't say that. RM2100 can be anything that will give 0% CB.
Expected, not only for SC cards. More to come.
18 months to go before the credit card fee is reduced to max 0.48% only on 1/1/2021.

All these CC fee keep reducing only gives advantage to retailer. mad.gif

User get what advantage? All the goodies by using credit card getting lesser and lesser

Don't think can.... otherwise why they mention "auto bill". They want you to charge full bill amount to the credit card.

In next decade, credit cards, debit cards and e-wallets are almost the same. You will use credit card only when you are broke.

You will pay more or the merchant will pay more if cash transaction (you pay surcharge to merchant as bank will charge merchants on cash deposit)

At least the Liverpool CB I pay the annual fee I still can give the free jersey to my dad. This one buta buta pay 250 into the drain and we all know how strict are SC nowadays.

Last time, call sure can get waiver. Now 1 cent also cannot waive. sweat.gif

Guess it's time to move my auto billing insurance from Maybank Barcelona to Standard Chartered. Not really a big issue, but kinda painful. (RM85 - RM60) x 12 = RM300 gone.

Guess all good things must end. Somemore the RM250 annual fee.

Quick question re annual fee - for new applicants, is it payable upfront or on first year anniversary?

Means if I reload RM2300 on bigpay and RM200 on petrol.... it will max out RM60 cashback right? OK la not too bad only if they waive AF when we threaten to cancel. If need to pay AF, screw it i'm cancelling it.

i am having the same thought as yours, just make it 2.3k BP, then 200 Petrol still can get 60.

I suppose it's just as well that I got my JOP AF waived recently.

"annual fee will no longer be automatically waived for customers that meet the yearly spend amount."

Doesn't this just mean that you COULD still call for AF waiver, regardless of whether you met the annual spend amount or not...? They're not saying they won't waive what... hmm.gif

That's just how I see it. whistling.gif

It seems the bank knows this game already. Very soon all these benefits would be taken off 1 by 1 lol.

Wow, this is BAD news. Glad I bumped into this announcement soon enough.
Guess it is now a good reason for me to dump my SC JOP for a combination of UOB YOLO and AmBank TRUE.
Previously I was deliberating on which card to take up but seems like I will have to take up both cards now to fit all my online spending.
Fortunately my JOP anniversary is due on August, still can make a run for my money just under 1 year tongue.gif rclxm9.gif

i think JOP adjust the cashback to optimum level. JOP 1 card can get RM60 but no other 1 card can have this feature yet. coz they know users sure will come back to them. sweat.gif

sad though

HLB Wise CB cap is strong at RM100. So now I can break spending into 2 cards for RM50 and RM30 CB accordingly (UOB YOLO and Ambank TRUE).
YOLO swipe 12 times in a calendar year to waive annual fee, TRUE is free for life.

LFC cannot replace JOP for online purchases IINM (MCC 8999 - FPX transaction is in the exclusion list).
Still got to find a suitable card to replace JOP for online transactions as I spend about RM3k online per month. Other retail spending probably only about RM1k per month.
