I think a few days is still a grey area where the bank might forgive you and waive if you appeal. It happened to me with CIMB. I missed the due date by around 5 days by accident, and according to my calculation, I will be charged with around RM5 extra charges (interest + late payment). I immediately called CS, politely apologized for my mistake, and asked for a waiver. The person said to wait until the next statement is out, and if there is still extra charges, call CS again to request for waiver. When the next statement came out, there was no extra charges.

No la, my late payment penalty already showing in unbilled transaction.

i tried instant transfer to credit card b4 apparently it doesn't allow... only normal transfer
so i called CS and told them politely that i had transfer payment "today" due to busy schedule.
I tried and it works, payment already went through. I will ask my sis to call SCB later.

If it's one or two days after due day you paid there will be no charges charged.
I've forgot one of my payment due date and i paid like 2 days after due date, surprisingly when next month billing cycle posted, there was no charges or whatsoever.
P/S: But i overpaid like RM20 just to cover the incoming interest charges.

I have missed payment to SCB by 1 day before...also called to ask for waiver but asked to wait till statement comes out. In the end, I wasn't charged for late payment.
On a more serious matter like CCRIS record, i've read that different banks submit their "flagged" report at different times of the month. They may not flag you on CCRIS if the payment is resolved early enough and before their monthly submission.
One or two days sure no issue but I missed a few days, due date was 27th July.
