I don't think they tightened their CL. Do you have credit cards from more than 5 banks?
I got my first SCB card, the JustOne Platinum MasterCard only in Jan this year. Made some 7.5k / month nett income slips then for the application.
They actually called me after they approved my application and informed me they can offer RM45k CL (Exactly 6 times the declared monthly amount).
I have few staffs whose Uber rides are all charged to this card and I get the maximum RM60 cash back just from Uber. The first few months I remember getting back the RM150 cashback and so on. Setup some auto billings and got the additional cashback as well, u can change it back to your regular credit card after u get the cashback. It's all good.
Many people said they prefer lower CL and I understand it may be good as it limits how much u can spend but I must also add that it's because of the higher CL that allowed me to leverage on the banks so much more.
At least now say if I have a combine CL of RM400k from 5 banks, and expenses of 50k monthly and some facilities like BT and so on for another 50k, my ctos / ccris shows that I am only using 100k / 400k which is 25% of my limit... and this is definitely a healthier number than having RM50k CL but monthly spending at 100%.
Yes, I have been using CC for more than 7 years and on and off I applied some and cancelled some, 15 cards, more than 5 banks. I don't think the no. of banks is important because other banks still offer me quite high CL. I got my first SCB card, the JustOne Platinum MasterCard only in Jan this year. Made some 7.5k / month nett income slips then for the application.

Yes, I have been getting RM 60 every month for my Uber too, charged to my Gold Cash Back which was given by my sister as supplementary, I was rushing to India for business trip and applying supplementary card was the fastest option that time.
