My car boot light no longer works. Does the warranty cover that?

I think unlikely. The bulb should be too cheap to make visiting a SC worthwhile anyway.

No. Send to a SC for cvt adaptation/checking. Alternatively you can try doing it by cycling thru R to D, stopping at each point for at least 5 seconds. N - D - N - R - N is considered one cycle

Same issue with mine. Brake noise. Sent to sc serviced (they said remove dust, cleaning and "service" the brake pad ) last me for around 2 weeks and the sound cm bck.  Complaint twice at sc for the same issue.
At last tak boleh tahan, send to outside workshop. They recommended me Brendix brand. Already run for months so far so good. The most important is no more brake noise.
*
Mine is also making noise again after few weeks servicing the brake. They put grease around the caliper pins and sand paper the brake pads. Haven't try changing the brake pads cause still quite thick.

I see. I don't think the bulb should blow. It is not like the boot is open all the time. Maybe it blew because of vibration while driving? I think I will change it to led for longevity. Not sure if the manual teaches you how to open the light.

sorry to hear abt this

my reverse sensor issue has been going on since i bought car 7 mths ago but i don't really bother that much cause i don't really depend on it, yes for my case it takes a while for replacement parts to arrive and fitted to my car

smaller SC may not have the capability to repair the HU. Due to our HU Blaupunkt is made in penang and very near to my usual SC, they were able to get someone from there to check and fix it for me.

I believe it does. If not it should be as simple as prying one side of the cover out. If you don't feel safe doing so, just remove the whole trim, but be careful when removing the trim as the boot light wire isn't that long.

Fixed it myself. It was not the bulb. The connector got loose. So I just attached it again. Very easy job actually. Just remove the two screws at the left and right side at the sidewall and yank the cover out slowly. If you pull it out quickly you may damage the cable.

I experienced it and still hvnt solve until now. Tried clutch adaption by myself but it seem the jerking still there(maybe my method wrong). After that went to SC Prai and they did some tuning I guess. Ok for awhile. Each time tune at SC last me for maybe 2 months and jerking come bck. Well...but I don't bother it now, jz tune it when I service my car at sc. Tired of keep going sc. =.=

Still quite disappointed with the service given.
waited for 3 month for replacement, yet only 1 part arrived.

Now quite bored as i am not able to pair my phone to listen to my playlist.

Really need to go to kesas. some more i afraid they also will request for more time later on rclxub.gif

i just sent my SS for 10k kms service. had a few complaints, SA was very courteous and offer to resolve all issues.

reverse sensor not working, ordered replacement, will send it for painting before i re-visit to fix it back

krek krek noise behind instrument cluster, workshop did something, noise seems to be gone, SA offer to replace both engine n CVT mountings

best of all, i only paid RM60+ to top up to Syntium 3000 full syn due to free service offer that came with my car.

best...

Sent my ride for 2nd service and point out quite a number of minor problem especially engine vibrating under acceleration but they just wrote that they will order engine mounting as replacement. Should I give them a call and ask them about cvt mount aswell? cool2.gif

normally i would be given a parts order list on a official piece of paper stating the actual part # being ordered.
not some random piece of paper or word of mouth

i have been given that piece of paper twice now and it clearly specifies part ordered if it is not available immediately for replacement

Hi all,

I'm considering the Michelin primacy 3 ST for the car. Anyone changed to it?

Is there significant difference in quietness compared to the stock Achilles tyres?
I really want to get it but I fear my wife will make noise that I'm wasting money.

So if there there is a major change in it being quieter I'd appreciate the feedback. I want to live a long life.

Please help me icon_question.gif

Any reason for the change in brand? Would you consider Dunlop a sidegrade or downgrade compared to Primacy ST? Thinking of Primacy too for my next change.

Price.. was quoted RM5++ per pcs for primacy here..
Dunlop was RM350/pcs for 225/45R17

Brandwise, downgrade..
Performance wise, better dry grip than Primacy 3ST.. wet grip about the same.. but noisier...
