Finally changed my stock tyres all 4 due to cracks. If u r still using the stock tyres pls check for cracks especially mine they r facing inside. Luckily manage to spot the cracks when they jack the car during oil change. For my safety and comfort I changed to Mic PS4. The damage is about 450/pc. The stock tyres made in Indonesia and the PS4 made in Thailand. Now can corner fast fast .

Just changed my car stock battery 2yrs+ to MF Century Marathoner 55D23L. Damage RM290.

Symptom when time to change battery, startup crank took longer to start the engine. Sometimes after startup the engine immediately went dead.

Normal startup: Ehhek Ehhek, vroom....

Almost end of battery life: Ehhek Ehhek Ehhek Ehhek Ehhek Ehhek. vroom....

Disclaimer this symptom might not be the same for your car which might have different issues.

Same issues my friend's SS also blue color the letters drop off. Mine different issue, there's a crack right in the middle. I heard it cost RM50 for the boot trim.

Anyone change the engine mounting via warranty claim?

Mine SS seems to vibrate when I step on the fuel to get extra juice. There's an annoying sound something loose from the dashboard everytime I step on the fuel for extra juice. Can't pinpoint exact location, press here press there tak jumpa

For those interested to know the tyre manufacturing date.

Suddenly the dashboard indicators lights up while I was driving. Quickly checked my handbrake is not engaged

Mine is also making noise again after few weeks servicing the brake. They put grease around the caliper pins and sand paper the brake pads. Haven't try changing the brake pads cause still quite thick.

I don't think there will be much different for city driving. You might get a slightly more mileage for long distance driving.

You have to consider also the fuel price different Ron95 RM2.30/L vs Ron97 RM2.60/L. Note that Ron97 kena 6% GST.

Below I quote from one website that did a comparison of fuel using Proton Saga.

"Meanwhile, the RON 97 Saga recorded a fuel consumption of 7.1 litres per 100 km (or 14.04 km/l), costing RM31.82 in total or 18 sen per km. The conclusion from this test is using RON 95 is 3 sen per km cheaper compared to RON 97."

Wah so long stock still got. Like mine sure brakes got problem rusting. Lucky under warranty change the disc brake. I think the caliper might also got problem but cannot prove it.

Ya, I agreed. It's useless unless replace with a camera or use as auto brake or adaptive cruise control to slow down when there's car in front.

I'm a lousy driver. Once I didn't estimate properly the divider in front then scratch. The car next to me look at me in surprise and said wah so loud the scratch sound. Another time reverse didn't notice the wall hit at the corner of the bumper. Lucky not serious, the plastic hook dislocated and can just manually push back the bumper.

Sometimes it would be useful when we want to squeeze through car blocking partially the road exit at traffic light. It would also help when we want to do side parking and can avoid the side manhole where most of the time the metal grille got stolen.

Now Toyota Vios also got 360 camera already!

Depending where they store the old stock. Most common problem rust at the brake discs and even the brake calipers. Wiper blades rubber deteriorate. Maybe some problem on the battery left idle could reduce it's lifespan. Spent more time at workshop to get defective parts replaced.

Found Preve owner had already installed 360 surround parking camera and replacing the infotainment system with Kenwood DNX8160S 7" if I'm not wrong and cost about 3K (infotainment unit only).
Look like it didn't really fit well. I found it at Etoni facebook.

I don't think Kenwood head unit got Waze. It got the phone mirroring for using the Waze app. I think if it got the Apple Car Play or Android Auto maybe can use Waze also.

I believe u meant 360 bird eye view camera/panoramic view monitor (Toyota Vios)/Around View Monitor (Nissan).

The Kenwood HU itself does not have that feature. We need to buy separate Around View Monitor system. The HU is just to replace the stock Suprima HU because of the low display quality and unreliable old Android.
