Don't blame them, this is forum, it happens, all the time.  console.gif
There are probably a few worthy devices that are more capable than Note 7 but it sounds like you need the S-Pen more than anything else.

Do consider Google's Pixel, S7E or maybe LG V20.

I come from S7edge to Note7. Really there is not much flagship that can match Note7. Google Pixel is ugly af. LG V20 design also so so only. Note7 the best really. Or maybe will jump ship to the fruit world...... Just saying

for me... s-pen has always been the ability to crop stuff on the go.

i am not that into drawing. but these days... many screenshots will also give ability to crop and add text. so, one of my main draw factor for s-pen no longer there.

but i love big screen + amoled + microSD. not many phones have this combo.

V20... not amoled. OnePlus3... no microSD.

pixel... physically bigger than note7 even though only 5.5"!

dem... i really have not many options...

Live with another phone for the time being, try again when all issues have been sorted out, or new flagship comes out.

Hey I too consider the fruit side, I was on queue for Maxis express the other day, I was checking out with the device but I decided the fruit side wasn't really gonna do for me since I rely on Google services a lot.

Note 7 is really the jack of all trades on Android. smile.gif

But shame really, if they didnt skip the Note 6 numbering, they have the reason to relaunch the brand to Note 7 with a bumped spec, say 6GB ram like the chinese version. laugh.gif

The king of smartphone will always be the king. No other flagship can compete with the mighty Note 7. But this time Samsung mess things up. Let's pray for Samsung.

don't disable all the KNOX stuff. secure folder relies on those api to keep files encrypted and secured.

if it was still a battery issue and that a smaller capacity (say 3100mAH) will 100% solve this explosion issue...

will you take the "new" Note7 with smaller battery capacity?

info 1: currently, note7 comes with 3500mAH battery. so, 3100 would mean abt 10+ decrease.
info 2: note5 comes with 3000mAH battery.

How? No official news from Samsung yet. Samsung Malaysia surely wont accept any replacement/refund for the time being.

note 2 had even higher mah battery. haha. if the production is stopped. the next thing would be solving our issue. it seems that the chances of getting refund is very high.

Regarding the discussion about what phone should be looking for if Note 7 reaaly stop selling, how about the upcoming Huawei device Mate 9? Looking at the specs, I think this can be the closest thing next to Note 7 (minus the curved screen, S-Pen and IP68).

So if Samsung is going to kill Note7, we may expect either refund campaign or get a free exchange to S8 or Note8 with S7 Edge as interim phone.
