QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 9 2016, 09:01 AM) Are you kidding here ? End of Samsung?? Mobile phone is just a part of Samsung, and Note is just a part of it's mobile phone product.Note is only one of their mobile products n they had other model series too Sony is a dying brand with too many rumors of them even stopping its production. Latest z series is insanely expensive for its specs HTC 10 supposedly their best isn't selling well purely because of its poor marketing...I gave it up after 3 weeks n hand down to my youngest son and much prefer the S7e. Until the day HTC increases its marketing efforts they will continue to struggle ...it is simply a chicken and egg case for HTC. Poor sales lead to limited expenses for marketing n that will affect sales eventually. Whether one like it or not the masses of buyers are influenced by marketing efforts. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 9 2016, 11:11 AM) As a known fact among forummers here at LYN, these phone specific threads are for the said specific phone owners and potential owners to post any questions, suggestions and reviews about the said phone. While constructive criticisms are mostly welcome here, its sad to say that most of the comments here are more towards trolling. Please be reminded this is the android forum and not your usual K'. What I noticed is a lot of K's started lurking in this thread and posting like there were in K' and hence the trolls and nonsense in this thread. +9999 Totally agreed. We don't mind anyone to sharing information here but please don't posting it once again and again.I'm a Note 7 user myself and I did power down my phone when the announcement came from Samsung to do so. I have replaced my set and am using it again as my daily driver. I find the Note 7 as the best android to meet my needs at the moment compared to my other android and IOS phones which are laying in my drawer. My suggestion is, for all you k's, haters, disbelievers, fence sitters, non note 7 owners, its really up to you on what you want to believe in on the Note 7. My word of advice, if you still think the phone will post a threat to you and your life, then don't buy it but please do stay clear of the this thread so that the real owners of the phone can discuss about the phone here in a peaceful manner. Your unconstructive posts, trolls are not really helping and owners might find your posts offensive and hence the arguments here. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 9 2016, 11:26 AM) i am a note7 user. We understand the possibility of those explode or fire but let leave it to those authorities and Samsung for investigation.used note 1 and note 2 as well... and i do think Note7 is probably the best android around at the moment, but it doesn't mean it might not have flaws and catch fire and explode. to think the phone is 100% safe is very naive. US agencies are now doing priority investigations into the two cases now. no results yet, but i'm surprised some are like 100% sure. maybe you guys know something the agencies don't? If me or anyone feel worry or no confidence on replaced Note 7, the best solutions is off it, sell it or given as a gift to someone who you hate. |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 11 2016, 09:30 AM) Sadly to say, none, bro. Since you said available on sale in Malaysia, there's really not much choices out there. Some said it's iPhone 7, but that's in different system, so it's really up to you. Other than that, Oneplus 3 is the closest in term of performance. iphone have good ecosystem and app. but their hardware are a bit outdated and features & functions too, also consider over priced. But no choice will take it if Note 7 recalled |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 11 2016, 06:22 PM) That will be very scary. If they are capable of doing that (kill switch), god knows what else they can do on our phones. I have make a complaint to Head of Samsung CS about this i.e. last time OTA restricting charging to 60% without our (owner) concern and/or permission. But don't think they will do this unless they have proper arrangement for us, else like myself without a spare phone sure F%$& them like hell |
