According to South Korean new agency Yonhap, Samsung has temporarily suspended production of Galaxy Note 7s. In the last week, at least three replacement Note 7s have reportedly caught fire, leading AT&T and T-Mobile to suspend their replacement programs for the phone.

agreed. note7 didn't get best android phone (currently) for nothing... it deserved it because it's that good.

that's why when i started to think abt what phone to get if there's a recall/ refund... i cannot think of sth that really matches the note7. and like some here... i might just go back to my old phone and then wait for the next Note.

but i really do hope they can the curved edges. watch movies pun not so fun coz cropped at top and bottom (when viewing in landscape). then smart select... if i need to select the edges... my goodness... so difficult and i ended up using finger instead.

if really refund... i hope this time Samsung MY be more generous and let us keep all freebies. like what TMo announced for their customers -- can keep the Gear Fit, etc... and even get cash voucher or sth...

I come from S7edge to Note7. Really there is not much flagship that can match Note7. Google Pixel is ugly af. LG V20 design also so so only. Note7 the best really. Or maybe will jump ship to the fruit world...... Just saying

just went to maxis and they told me they only got note 7 comes with line package by mid next month...anyone else here waiting for telco plan also?

i m using my N4 now and planning to move to N7. Will see if any updates on the N7 2nd batch, or else might need to settle down with iphone 7

I wonder if it is refund, would Samsung offer any compensation for the customers. This is merely because most customers already buy some accessories for their phone such as casing, screen protector, microsd card and so on. Apart from that, the time that the customers spend just to get all these sorted out.

ya, note7 curve not that bad... but i still found it useless... i watch a lot of videos on the phone and i browse a lot of websites. movies... you know la... the curved edges spoil the mood. for websites, they should design better la... but some sites that maximise the page... i end up having to turn my phone to the sides a bit to read.

then there's smart select. i recently wanted to crop out something from the website and when i used the pen and had to crop from the edges... it was near impossible. in the end, i used the old screenshot method and then cropped with fingers. it was from here that i realised my main use for the pen... i can now easily do with finger.

plus... curved screen... really cannot use any SP. what a pain.
