No. U can’t pay the card until it’s activated. The details won’t be shown there iinm.

U can transfer to other bank and pay your old card number first before new card is sent to u.

The old card number can still accept payment.

Do you use MBB mobile app? if yes, go in the credit card section, click the card and see got outstanding payment and pay statement balance, all infos in there.

Even if it's not authorized anymore I can still make payment?

In the phone app it's also saying not authorized.
The card has been blocked until I receive the new number I guess.

Did u check with CS about what you need to know and payment?

Yeah, when i asked him about it that time he said i can still pay to the card. But I am just not sure cause i usually pay via maybank2u and i see that the card is blocked, thus i want to make sure.

How much is the late payment though? Is it charged based on %%? Never experience this before.

Just to confirm, Lazada eWallet top up and Shopee Pay topup not eligible for cashback (VS Barcelona)

NO for Lazada Wallet and ShopeePay, both are e-wallets.
YES for Lazada and Shopee, both are retail transactions.

Latest sharing - based on my latest statement it looks like FCB will give cashback for TnG Ewallet only for certain merchant description.

TNG WALLET - eligible for cashback
TNG EWALLET - not eligible for cashback

Of course they might tighten it further in the future so try at your own risk

yup... cant find any post for Lazada Wallet and ShopeePay (and they kinda in the grey area). So tried it last month and confirm no cashback for them.

It was TNG Wallet all this while till someone pointed out here.
Then changed to Ewallet.

My previous month transactions posted as TnG Wallet. It was entitled to cashback.
Transaction made on 28/3 posted as TnG Ewallet, it was not entitled to cashback.
Most likely maybank realised it and changed it.

No lah. The description and MCC could be changed by CIMB only. However, Maybank can blacklist any e-wallet anytime.

"Saved card" method still show "TNG WALLET" if I am not wrong.

Nope all my reloads are via saved card and like your experience it is seems to be random even on the same day.

Guys, a question:
Few days ago i called the bank for an authorized transaction. They block the card.

Today i login to my Maybank2u:
1. My card has been blocked (written as is not authorized) - ok normal, happened since the day i called them
2. In the spending graph, i see a total of RM400 charges (that unauthorized transaction, cause I didn't use my card for anything else this month)

So what am i supposed to do now? Wait for the new card, new number, check the statement and then dispute again?

One quick question about the FCB VS card.

Can you use the card to put money in StashAway via JomPay? Is the amount eligible for cashback, as I'm not sure if it falls under utilities or some other category?

SAMY via JomPay accepts credit card or not first.



Can you select your preferred credit card in Maybank2U during checkout?
