Month of May with 10% cashback is coming soon. With the MCO, which may extend into May/June, I am starting to think how to spend the minimum RM1,000

Govt, bills all cannot. A lot of shops not open also. Online don't know what to buy ... hmm.gif

Since you had been cracking your head till wanted to explode, why not just cancel the card. PM hinted that the MCO could last till Raya.
Well, it's just a suggestion anyhow.

no need keep suggesting. you know what you want and how you spend. thumbup.gif

you can even try now to test those places you're not sure, e.g. shopee wallet and lazada wallet. monitor your cashback on 2 May in M2U.

Exactly and I have been reported.
This is a Visa and wide categorical based card.
With all the suggestions you gave earlier, he has rejected almost of them.
If one has low utilization on the card and had to force to spend aimlessly by paying advance here and there, it's better off to just cancel the card.

No rebate if directly top-up Ewallets including ShopeePay and Lazada Wallet.

TNB is not included in Lazada's or Shopee's bill payment service yet. But there are some Shopee sellers offering bill payment service and reload ewallet, with a surcharge. Eg you pay +5% surcharge for paying TNB, buying Bigpay credit etc, you still gain ~5% as Maybank will give 10% rebate on Shopee transactions in May.

Thanks for clarification and being helpful thumbsup.gif Indeed now I recall MBB CC removes all e-wallet cashback/rebate since June last year which I've forgotten.

Hi guys , how do you accumulate the 2.5k minimum in order to waive the annual fee of Visa Signature? Does paying insurance, PTPTN and utilities counts?

RM 30k min annual spending.
It doesn't put restriction on what need to send in order to get the AF waiver.

some can, some cant

my condo accept card, but now due to MCO, mgmt office dont allow residents to visit office. payment via online transfer only doh.gif

still got whole month of May to plan the spending. if MCO lifted or mgmt office allow visitation, then good to pay in advance to maximize cb.
