QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 12 2017, 08:40 PM) How did your AF being charged? In unbilled transaction first or straight in statement? In unbilled transaction, once i noticed it in my m2u, I called and cancel. It will be charge on the month before anniversary. My card anniversary is Jul, but i noticed the AF charged at End June.

I will continue using and check from time to time. 1 thing i have to praised about MBB is how gentleman they are. As I was still using the card up to the day i noticed the AF was charged, I though I will be losing the cash rebate for transaction I did in the last billing cycle when I cancel the card. But they still payout the cash rebate based on all the eligible transaction during my card cancellation. Really appreciate that. Unlike what I have experienced with Hong Leong, which the cash rebate credit is late by 1 billing cycle and they will just rip you off if you not aware.

Hi All,
I am looking for a CC with annual income > RM120k, preferably Visa/Master without annual fees (no Amex!). I don't mind taking clear card (doesn't have to be Gold or Platinum) but I cannot wrap my head around which is more important:
1. Reward Points 2. Cashback
Reward Points I noticed that some offer 1x up to 5x rewards points (local vs overseas, Maybank huh) but some times their product catalogue give lousy products.
Cash back Only selected merchant or stores give certain cash back capped at max RMx per month.
So which is more berbaloi for someone who runs a family with bills, petrol and groceries, not so much on shopping.

I noticed that the new privileges listed for maybank vs no longer mentions the valet club. Although the old pdf where the valet club is mentioned still exist. Is there anyone here using the valet club and noticed this change?

I just checked out MBB website : MBB Islamic MC Ikhwan gives 5% cashback on groceries and petrol on Fri n Sat , curious why no sign of the Ikhwan Visa though http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-CardsMBB Islamic Petronas Ikhwan Visa Gold Card-i gives 8% cashback on Petronas swipes on Sat n Sun, good for Petronas users. http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cardsthough not a fan of Petronas, might be taking the latter since 8% CB, since my PBB VS takes care of the grocery part already... gonna cut the Visa Signature after my last pump this weekend This post has been edited by michaelho: Sep 28 2017, 05:05 PM

Ikhwan Mastercard, not limited to Petronas, you can use it at any petrol stations including Shell to get 5% rebate on Fri & Sat. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Sep 28 2017, 05:51 PM

Luckily I took the risk and continued spending last month, no AF was charged yet and got cash back. I have a feeling it might be charged this month since it's embossed on my card that October is my anniversary.
