I though we are talking VS.
VS is RM30k, 2 premier was RM80k.
But VS existing customer is RM50k. So that's why I say is unfair.
*
aiks i thought it will follow the new requirement? no ah? im old batch of VS, not sure if it's 30k or 50k :/ even after anniversary date, it's still gonna 50k or follow new req?

Customer service told me card holder before dec 2017 is follow 50k to waive annual fee.
But so fair I didn't spend over RM50k yet. around RM40k. Didn't received annual fee in statement yet.

My card was applied July 2016. Waiting for next statement see if annual fee applied.
*
despite waiver, it will still show in statement.. mine was like this:

Thanks for the info.
Means my annual fee didn't waived yet.
Btw, you spend above RM50k to entitle the waiver?
*
err i didnt really keep track, but confirm i spend above that.. i swipe in average around 6-7k per month on my VS smile.gif

Any advantage of swiping so much for this card? unsure.gif To waive AF only?
Even 5x is for overseas spending. hmm.gif

After getting my September cash back, I will say goodbye to this card. Hopefully temporarily and I will reapply again next year.
*
i do alot online purchases, the gateway is overseas, so i get 5x points... 40k points = RM100 cash rebate ma biggrin.gif amex 5x points, but the points cant directly redeem rebate

Hi,

Can you advise which online shop would be considered oversea purchase? From my understanding, shopee is based in singapore, so that falls under oversea transactions? and the same goes for Agoda?
*
anything that's the payment gateway is outside of msia... for online purchases, you have to be sure of the company's billing method etc... say paypal, ebay, amazon, all those big ones which doesn't originate from msia is normally considered overseas as their gateway is based in their originating country

Hi,

I am interested in the 5x points benefit of this card for oversea spend.

Have anyone tried and tested if paying online for these websites entitle you the 4x spend ?

1. Shopee
2. Agoda

Thanks to advise
*
1. no longer overseas, last time billed in USD then can, now in RM so nope..
2. yes for me, i get 5x points, as payment gateway is in SG

Just to update, the colleague who got her M2Cards last month just got her FCB VS rejected. sweat.gif The other colleague got approval, luckily the staff in The Gardens is quite helpful, she also puzzled why hers got rejected, so she will appeal for her but my colleague needs to submit latest payslip again.

And the foreign colleague, hers still under processing and MBB wants her to open a FD account of RM 10k to secure her card applications. I went and argued with them and showed to them her 6 digits GIA-i account, after making call to the department, cannot accept because it's Islamic account.. She has to open one for conventional. doh.gif Tomorrow will help her to open over the counter, she's OK with it since she earns interests. Even the staffs also wondering when her salary already qualified for at least M2Premier cards and already working more than two years here with work permit also recently got extended. laugh.gif Well, since she's OK with this arrangement, then OK lo.
