I just found out today that I got AF charged Sept 27 and didn't get a waiver. And I had 1 transaction after that date because I just noticed today. Called Maybank immediately to ask for waiver, they said need 30 days to know if it will get approved.

What is the date range for annual spend for waiver? I spent around 29.5k from 01/10/16 to 26/09/17. Plus the AF its 30k bangwall.gif

You are considered as old customer so you will need to spend RM 50k to waive AF, new customers (applied from Dec 2016) will be 30k.
AF is RM 550 (before GST) and not RM 30k la. doh.gif doh.gif

If you didn't achieve the minimum spending requirement, knowing how MBB works, your AF will not be waived.

I meant 29.5k + 550 around 30k. But your right, I'm old customer. Got the MVS 2015, so 50k to waive.

sad.gif I guess I'll just ask if I can cancel and not pay for the AF. Just wondering if they will because of that 1 transaction after the AF. If can not then I'll just have to make sure I cancel next year before the AF.

i dont think this info is correct.

i am so called old customer too.

last month thinking maybe need to terminated this card as i hardly use it,

today just checked and i can use it for 1 more year as i am charged annual fees 550+ gst 33 but get waived automatically.

the only explanation i can think of is maybe they combine from the mbb2kard with this vs spending that maybe just exceed 30k but definitely not 50k.

lucky me tongue.gif

from their website I think it's very clearly written:

"Annual Fee
Principal: RM550, FREE for the first year. Subsequent years FREE if spend a min of RM30,000 and above per annum
Effective date 1 December 2016)"

so it's for both old and new customers rclxms.gif
