It seems like my appeal is successful. I can see VS in my M2U and credit limit has increased by another 10k.

QUOTE(sms2u @ Oct 2 2016, 09:58 PM) if can control groceries and petrol usage on fri and sat and usage less than RM1000 monthly. Ikhwan will be sufficient and can get 5% cash back. I will cancel next year, no worries. No need to apply this visa signature which need to pay for annual fee for second year onward unless you spend the min RM50K yearly. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Oct 3 2016, 03:31 PM) Agreed - I would apply the same strategy like you. Always take advantage of benefits when they are around and then cancel if AF outweigh benefits. QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Oct 3 2016, 03:38 PM) no minimum spending. flexible day to spend compared to ikhwan. higher monthly quota Not like cancellation takes a lot of effort. Just a call will do. the benefits outweigh the effort to apply the card and spend only one year Even my application was done via online too. Not a super tiring thing to do. QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Oct 3 2016, 05:18 PM) I'm a serial applicant and canceller, especially for banks with high AF but short cooling down period for new applications. Nowadays both applications and cancellations are so easy, and new applications usually come with lots of goodies (except Maybank). So it's good to shop around. Despite that, I will only apply cards which are beneficial to me. |

QUOTE(aromachong @ Oct 6 2016, 02:33 PM) asked my friend to apply this card via m2u.. If you fulfill the salary requirement, it will show like that. Then, just wait for email whether it is approved or rejected. It will come soon."your application is approved in principle" - what does this mean? Reference number: xxxxxxxxx we'll notify you on the application via SMS and/Or Email .. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 6 2016, 02:35 PM |

Anyway, my card's expiry is 04/22 which is the same month as my M2Cards Plat, am I right to say my AF should be charged only around April 2018? Or still Sept 2017?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Oct 10 2016, 10:11 PM) Oh you better make several calls. I checked with CS hotline, email and FB, and all gave different answers. I escalated to BNM and their resolution unit continue to taichi until I finally get a black and white. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 10 2016, 10:19 PM |
