It seems like my appeal is successful. I can see VS in my M2U and credit limit has increased by another 10k. rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

Congra! May I know your main aim of applying this card is for what type of spending?
*
Groceries and petrol obviously. laugh.gif
Since I won't keep Wise anymore, this card will be my primary usage for these two categories while Ikhwan will be kept in drawer for one year. laugh.gif

Congrats, it is a good card when the AF is still not charged  biggrin.gif

Yes use first as CC's benefits are so uncertain these days. laugh.gif I saw the last 4-digit in my M2U and they are nice number. biggrin.gif

if can control groceries and petrol usage on fri and sat and usage less than RM1000 monthly. Ikhwan will be sufficient and can get 5% cash back.

No need to apply this visa signature which need to pay for annual fee for second year onward unless you spend the min RM50K yearly.
*
I will cancel next year, no worries. smile.gif

Agreed - I would apply the same strategy like you. Always take advantage of benefits when they are around and then cancel if AF outweigh benefits.  innocent.gif

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Oct 3 2016, 03:38 PM)
no minimum spending. flexible day to spend compared to ikhwan. higher monthly quota

the benefits outweigh the effort to apply the card and spend only one year wink.gif
*
Not like cancellation takes a lot of effort. Just a call will do. biggrin.gif
Even my application was done via online too. Not a super tiring thing to do. laugh.gif

I'm a serial applicant and canceller, especially for banks with high AF but short cooling down period for new applications. Nowadays both applications and cancellations are so easy, and new applications usually come with lots of goodies (except Maybank). So it's good to shop around.
*
Despite that, I will only apply cards which are beneficial to me. biggrin.gif

do expect 15mins wait time.

even for premier line, I waited 5mins before a CS pick up this morning, previously its not more than 3 rings.

Can I complain this kind of inefficiency to BNM? Is there such a complaint category for this? laugh.gif

Don't think BNM will entertain the service quality level complaint. They are monitoring the discrepancy of monetary issue, not service quality of particular bank.
*
OK, then I will find a way to feedback to Maybank directly. Really terrible. shakehead.gif

asked my friend to apply this card via m2u..

"your application is approved in principle" - what does this mean?
Reference number: xxxxxxxxx

we'll notify you on the application via SMS and/Or Email ..
*
If you fulfill the salary requirement, it will show like that. Then, just wait for email whether it is approved or rejected. It will come soon.

Mine was rejected earlier by the system when I applied via M2U on 18th Sept. Then, sent them email and every email they took few days to reply... So eventually only approved on 29th. sweat.gif

Anyway, my card's expiry is 04/22 which is the same month as my M2Cards Plat, am I right to say my AF should be charged only around April 2018? Or still Sept 2017? unsure.gif
