smile.gif Not a big issue with this card, many have this card.

The packaging has nothing interesting and this card in my opinion is just a Plat level card, not worthy though I have it and will cancel when my AF is reached.

Better stick to my plan for PBB VS.

Yup.. i guess you are right. But its just missing the petrol cash back. If that was included then hands down it is the best signature card to apply. In my opinion the worst is HSBC. But damn Maybank for removing the Premium lounge access. lol.

What I'm looking for is a card that covers my petrol cash back. The rest i don't mind getting points. The grocery cash back seems like a better option for me over dinning because i spend on groceries easily more then 700 a month. I won't be spending like that on dining.

Btw how much is the cap for the PBB cash back if i may ask?

RM 50 cap for PBB. I have other cards for petrol, so not an issue and I don't drive most of the time.

You have to pay for it if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, please just post in one post.

PS: I already have the Maybank2 card platinum. Did not find it useful especially AMEX since very limited places accept it.
*
It is still very useful. Amex is accepted for bill payment and all major groceries. And might be a safer bet to use amex at aeon compared to vs. Aeon supermarket is not always 'grocery'.

But yes, in terms of flexibility, of course everyday is better.

Well currently for cash back i been using Citibank Cash back plat. So cash back for grocery will be my first. lol. Btw Amex not only troublesome to use in Malaysia but overseas also. Well at least from what i experienced. I lived in seoul last year for about 10 months. And most of the places don't accept Amex. When i pulled it out they straight shook their head. lol. But major stores do accept. Because it saved my ass one time when all my visa cards got rejected when i was trying to pay for something. My last option was the AMEX and it worked like a charm. hehe. Just saying the majority don't prefer it.

Actually there were days when aeon supermarket and using cards that give cash back for groceries but not getting cash back. Tried at sunway before. Unless things have changed because i dont go there that often and i tend to use cash more often due to long queue.

Toll free customer service number for Maybank Visa Signature is 1800-88-1801, same as Maybank 2 Card Platinum. For Maybank Visa Signature, press 1 on the telephone keypad. For other platinum cards, press 2.

Suppose that I have Maybank Visa Signature Card and Maybank 2 Card Platinum American Express. I have some issues with my Maybank 2 Card Platinum American Express only, without any other issue on my Maybank Visa Signature Card.

Can I press 1 to ask questions about Maybank 2 Card Platinum American Express? Or, that is not allowed, and I should press 2 instead?

Thank you for your information. smile.gif

As my understanding Aeon Jusco consider as departmental categories
Aeon BIG falls under groceries categories

So using your Maybank VS at Aeon Jusco will not eligible for cash rebate

why make it so complicated with all your scenarios? doh.gif

just call and test lo.

afaik, it doesnt matter. the human picking up the line would still entertain you, or pass you to another team/person.

Good explanation, cybpsych.

It seems that pressing 1 is strictly for Maybank Visa Signature Card issues, and pressing 2 is for Maybank platinum credit card issues.

But, as you said, it does not matter. I just press 1, as the waiting time to be attended by CS should be shorter. smile.gif

Just press according to your card type. That's how I do. It's the same waiting time.

Just realized some thing. Apparently for Maybank all the cards share the same credit limit. For example if you have the Maybank2 cards platinum and Visa Signature, once you click on any of those cards in Maybank2u and see the credit limit says 20k. That 20k credit limit is for both the plat and signature. lol.

I even called the CS to confirm this.

Most banks are like that, unless stated otherwise. The same goes to your supp cards, they will be sharing principal's credit limit.

however, islamic card will be having its own credit limit apart from conventional cards.
