Re-applied Visa Signature after cancelling it more than 6 months ago to avoid AF charges. Applied via m2u early morning Monday this week, approved yesterday and card delivered today at 3 pm.
Only had to submit IC photocopy and EPF statement. No other documents.
Bloody efficient.

You will wait till the AF is charged? 7 months ago, I did not wait for the AF to be charged.

Yes, will wait. I'm not swiping anymore I guess. I got my card approved in Oct 2016, expected it to charged me in Oct 2017. It didn't, so I continued swiping in Nov. I think it will follow my anniversary month which embossed on card, April.

Hmm. I think I better reload one more round of TnG before bidding farewell to it. laugh.gif

Yeah good move. Hope they don't realise their mistake in charging u late. I was worried 7 months ago so I called CS and they told me when they were gonna charge me the AF. Then I went ahead and cancelled it.
However, same thing for me , because I still had to wait 6 months before re-applying.

Well, the CS also told me in Oct 2017 but I recalled this was discussed many years ago, some followed the anniversary month embossed on the card. laugh.gif

Yeah, same thing actually. Just that I'm luckier to be able to use few more months. laugh.gif

Fyi, since I have m2card before vs, my vs follows the anniversary month of my m2card. Not sure if this applies on your case.

Please define non retail since most things you swipe are considered as retail spendings except for some niche ones such as payment to government agencies and etc which might be excluded

There's no exclusion on FCBVS.

Unfortunately not all gov. agencies accept credit card payments.

Non retails I think is EzyPay (instalment) then EzyPay Plus (pay then later instalment got interest usually) and all those stuff like cash advance etc?

And I don’t think any cards in the market which are offering any form of cashback for this kinda items, right?

just wondering on the installment part, lets say the item is rm5k. Can i ask the merchant to swipe 2.5k to get rm50 rebate then another 2.5k convert it into installment? Anyone done it before?

Thanks.

depends if merchant WANT to do it for you smile.gif

it's tedious for them to reconcile their receipts vs settlement later.

try ask the merchant see if they want to do your business or not, ask first then see how later...
