i just cancelled the VS card to avoid AF, how long should i wait in order to re-apply? thanks

FCB supplement card has separate cash back? or combine with main holder?

Just get my Barcelona VS card today and I noticed that the credit limit stated in the letter was "combined credit limit". This mean the credit limit is combined with my existing M2Card? so my total credit limit remain the same despite I have an additional card?

Yes Combined credit limit with all conventional card, include M2C.
Unless you have Ikhwan card, then the limit is separated.

the guy at the card center at Gardens says 2 years to ensure that u don't get charged the AF.

i tried to apply it again 6 months after i've cancelled a couple of years ago to avoid the AF, but the guy said if you apply now, the AF will still be charged on the first statement.

PS: the 2 years came from another agent from the same card centre which says Maybank actually clears their database for inactive customers that exceed 2 years, so AF will not be charged if you've cancelled for more than 2 years and will be treated as a new customer.

i see. thanks a lot. but the cashback amount is not combined right? essentially I am entitled for RM100 cashback per month (50 from BFC VS, 50 from M2C)?

you will still get cashback for each card FCBVS and M2CAmex = rm50 + rm50

Why not? Though approval is by the discretion of bank.

Oh, i just received the sms from MBB saying my mbb 2 card is rejected. sad.gif

Does that mean I cannot apply for any MBB cards for the next 6 months?
