1) Apple Pay will indeed be available/supported in Malaysia via Malaysian-based Financial Institutions (FIs), in the near future i.e. soon

Interesting. What do you mean by pre-register and pre-auth? What extra stuff do we still need to do as a consumer other than just adding our plastic to Apple Wallet/Pay?To summarise:
