Waaaaa Japan earthquake.

"A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has shaken Tokyo after striking off the cost of Japan.

Early reports say a tsunami warning has been issued after the incident off the coast of Fukushima, the site of a major previous nuclear catastrophe.

United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the quake hit Namie, Futaba District, Fukushima.

The quake hit 67km northeast of Iwaki, south of the Hamadori coastal region of Fukushima, Japan, reports RT.

The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued tsunami advisories for much of the nation's northern Pacific coast.

A warning read: "Damage due to tsunami waves is expected. Evacuate immediately from coastal regions and riverside areas to a safer place such as high ground or an evacuation building."

Was sleeping and suddenly felt my apartment moving. Normally after a while it will stop. However this morning it was shaking non stop and I think it lasted 2-3mins. Where I am staying is only classify in Japan as shindou 3 but its still unnerving. Turn on the TV and they were asking everyone in Fukushima to run to high ground as Tsunami is coming

For accommodation, what is the hotel name and how much per night? do you only stay in 1 hotel the whole trip?
*
yes we stayed in the same hotel for the whole duration ( 4 nights).
It cost us about RM1,800.00. (incl. of 4 bread fast) but I believed that the rates vary at different time.
Hotel Mystay Shin Osaka.

Advise to stay at Osaka then traveling to Aquarium and Legoland..as this area are nearby. Stay Osaka 2 night are recommended.. ,if you planning to visit Kobe for Day Trips ...Only 30 minutes by train from Osaka to Kobe..recommended visit to Habourland ,Kobe..Here also have Kawasaki Museum and Kobe Tower...After Kobe ,then move to Kyoto .Recommended to 2-3 night to spend here..then move to Nara for Day Trips then overnight at Rinkku nearby Kansai Airport...shopping at Rinku Premium Outlet..

3 Year old kids are Free of Charge for train. For buses, you need to pay the fare.

Thanks. Kawasaki museum sounds nice. 1 day should be enough to cover Kobe right? Anyway have booked airbnb for 4 days in Osaka. I noticed the accommodation in Kyoto is quite expensive compare to Osaka. Was looking at the traditional Japanese room for stay in Kyoto. Even normal room is expensive. Maybe quite close to my travel date d hence the price.

Third Day: After bread fast headed to Shin Osaka Station. There was slight drizzle and the weather was cold, I supposed it should be around 12 degrees. We proceeded to our first destination- Osaka Castle by taking Midosuji Lie to Hommachi and transferred to Chuo Line and got off at Tanimaci 4-chome Station. Umbrellas/wing breaker became handy because it was still drizzling. We walked all the way to Osaka Park and the drizzle finally stopped. Osaka Park is definitely very huge so we just covered a small portion of it and proceeded to buy ticket to visit Osaka Castle. Spent the whole morning there.
We walked back to Tanimai 4-chome station and to take the Chuo Line to Hommachi Station. Our initial plan is to walk from Hommachi to Shinsaibashi but the sky started to get cloudy and rain began to fall. So as an alternative we took the Midosuji Line and got off at the next stop e.g Shinsaibashi Station. We spent the whole afternoon in Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori area because the rain was getting heavier. Shopping and eating okonomic, octopus balls, ice cream and many more which I got confused with their names.
Head back to hotel by taking Subway Midosuji Line.
Our visit to Osaka was indeed very brief, so much so that we had missed out many tourist spots like Arashiyama and Kinkakuji .
But Japan has given us such a good and deep impression that we will return very soon if not Osaka again then may be Hokaiddo/Sapporo.

Yes,correct..seem you bring kids...I also recommend you. Anpanman Children Museum ...located at Kobe Harborland. Its walking distance from Kawasaki Museum.

Your traveling with family ,are little bit expensive compare couple . Last year, I stay at Osaka..its cost me ¥25,000 per room per night ( 3 Adult with 2 Kids )...This year i went to Matsumoto..overnight at Richmod Hotel ,its cost me ¥23,000 per night 2 adult and 2 kids. All walk in direct with out booking...

You can book with Booking.com...might get cheapest room on that day.

Kyoto its Tourist Attraction spot,no wonder most hotel and rooms are bit expensive .

Most of Hotel price are getting expensive now days...compared 2-3 year ago.

If you hardworking enough then add Mount Takao + Chichibu + Chosi

3 Night Osaka + Kobe

Osaka - Dottonbori | Osaka Aquarium | Osaka Castle | USJ Osaka
Kobe - Harborland | Kawasaki Museum | Kobe Beef ...If you muslim..you can visit Kobe Mosque

3 Night Kyoto

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2158.html

3 Night Tokyo

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2164.html

10 days its not enough to cover all trips. Its advise you to select which places have higher tourist attraction spot.Study first and plan your budget wisely.

Last month,my friend visit Kobe and have lunch with me..complaint for 1 Briyani Rice cost RM80 per meals. doh.gif This Japan maa..nothing is cheaper and free..If japan are too expensive... Bangla are the best to visit la.. laugh.gif
