few question
1. anyone been to Ito-Yokado at kiba station?...seems alot of choices
2. when u want tax refund, is it that they will packed all your stuff into a box and seal it?
*
Tax refund will be done immediately at the shop you bought those stuff. Food and make-ups, they will seal in a bag and you can only open it when back to malaysia. Others like bag, shoes, cameras, no seal.

Anyone tried the Hakone Free Pass or Kansai Thru Pass before? Is it reasonable to buy the pass?

It sounds like a great deal to me tho..

If you buy only one unit, no problem to pass malaysia custom. FYI, Apple products in Japan are only slightly cheaper than Malaysia now due to our falling rate....last two years was about rm500-600 cheaper

Cool! So it's worth it to buy the pass..
How's Hakone? Was it wonderful? Cause when I check on people's picture it look boring.. Except the Mt Fuji view. sweat.gif

To those who are travelling to Japan next year....
Winter fireworks have been scheduled for Kawaguchiko from January 14th to February 19th on Saturdays and Sundays. There will also be a special display on February 23rd which is Mt Fuji day (annually).

Hi I currently owned a Maybank 2 Gold Card and I was wondering how much are the fees if I were to withdraw Japanese yen at say, Japan Post bank using the card?

EDIT: I also owned a Public Bank ATM/Debit card, just wondering what is the cheapest way to obtain yens while in Japan.

Thanks!

Which part of Japan you going? If Tokyo there're shudn't be a problem..Unless u going some outskirt areas..

If you are not confident on WiYo u can use this..last time i use this, service is great..Request to send over to my hotel in Tokyo, and when i arrived in Tokyo, its already there for me to use. Return is easy too, just put it in any post box..Everything is FOC

AFAIK, the bag cannot be opened, so you just have to deal with it.
