I tried hakone free pass...2d1n 1...
used it to travel from Shinjuku to Hakone then all the required rides around there...n bus to terminal which can switch to Gotemba...
for me i not going in depth around hakone...so 2d1n is sufficient...and yea convenient for go around...

depends what u look for, to me its my first japan trip...everything is new to me...
i m ok with everything coming...
it has its own attractions which u can find out about online...so if u off interest about them...then u can choose to skip...
view definitely nicer from kawaguchiko to fuji...than from hakone... i think...
i chosen it as i don plan to fit it beyond 2d1n...and i wan go stop gotemba....lol
