Well this is the one that they gave after I complaint 3 times, they already replace my router 2 times and this is the last replacement that they gave and actually support my VIP50 package
*
What problem u encounter with the c5? Today I just report my c5 keeps having connection problem. I think its a hardware defect since sometimes it works sometimes it don't.

No problem actually, I just hate the router that TM gave with no particular reason.. I've never used their router since back when I subscribed to Streamyx

Save some money so you can get the ASUS RT-AC68U
Or buy it through monthly installment with 0% interest using Maybank EzyPay thumbsup.gif

can advise which type of fiber cable suitable for outside wall to the ONU ?
i think about 20 meters long..

current fiber cable was from tm with 2 hard wire...the wire too long difficult to make is nicer ..the cable too hard to roll...

thanks,.,

Guys, I'm planning to upgrade my current VIP5 to the new 30Mbps package. Is there anyway to actually remove the hypptv from the package? I just hate hypptv as I don't use it so it's kinda a waste for me

No way, I we wished the same way too.

I just notice the title of this thread:
Official TM UniFi High Speed Broadband Thread V27, We Want Cheaper Price! (Unifi)

Just let us remove the HyppTV Package.... It is lousy! Paying RM31.80 monthly (with GST summore....!!!) is like "sedekah tak ikhlas" to TM! Forcing us to pay lousy HyppTV service is like "menyelamatkan seseorang dalam organisasi TM - Siapakah "ketua" HyppTV di TM....?".

I would rather pay RM51/month for NetFlix Premium service

Say NO to HyppTV!!!

Well, you can say no but if you are subscribing to UniFi then you will need to pay. That's why they can monopolize. sad.gif

Anyone on unifi 30mbps into online gaming? Since I changed to 30mbps, I noticed that I get much more packet loss and spikes in games compared to 10mbps previously.

Is it me or is Unifi connection is having an issue? I only get 20mb dl 10mb ul for my 30mbps connection. Just upgraded today so not sure what is causing it.

Currently using TP-LINK WN821N 300mbps wireless adapter and TP-LINK TL-WR841HP router. Do my equipments support the 30mbps connection?

Any review about TENDA AC1200 Dual Band Wireless Router FH1202? Is this router ok? Or should go for normal Asus enough? Help cousin buy with limited budget around RM200-250.

My ONU/BTUs lights suddenly shut off all at once about an hour ago along with my internet connection. Tried restarting but the lights marked LINK and AUTH will not turn on. Never had this happen before with the smaller white BTU before i moved to this new house.

Planning to call tm in the morning but not sure what to tell them. It could either be the ONU out of commission or the fiber cable itself right?

Attached Image

The previous ONU I had worked for 4 years straight without fail. If this one overheated or something it lasted a grand total of 4 months. Tm wouldn't let us reuse the older BTU because apparently it was coded to the previous house's fiber port.
