Yes I know.. what setting to set ?
I tried change channels 6,11 same...

But my LAN also encounter lag slow issue..
*
My bad. Mine is currently set on channel 8 for single band 2.4ghz as the router doesnt support dual band

I found interesting stuff.Using my huawei RG4332 TM router, I can get full 30mbps wirelessly on my smartphones and tablets, but on my pc using tplink receiver, I barely get 15mbps

WHen I switch the router to my tplink, my phones' speed fluctuates between 20mbps to 25mbps and on my pc, it increases to 20mbps but still not 30mbps.

This is killing me lol. Looks like I gotta ask for the new router from TM, maybe changing my pc wireless adapter as well

U may need to read the exact budget commentary rather what Najis presented. It may be an example only n apply to other speed. Just wait n see. No need arguing here. Lol.. .

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 21 2016, 07:39 PM)
read closely, it said for the RM149 5Mbps package only  brows.gif

1) to upgrade that 5Mbps to 10 Mbps - mostly done if not all, so by next yr easily doable
2) to double the speed and decrease price for that particular package in 2 yrs, wait slow slow la

then comes the next paragraph
* A subscriber of 5 mbs per second package at RM149 will enjoy a package with twice the speed, which is 10 megabytes per second. Within the next two years, for this package, the speed will be doubled with the reduction in prices by 50%.

So i better make sure i don't touch my package for another 2 yrs  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

well most of the unifi 5mbps user auto upgraded to 10mbps
so in conclusion they are not giving double speed at all doh.gif

I hope so too, but looking at last yr budget - RM60 for 1Mbps (look at what "brilliant" package TM came out with)
also http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...rage-and-speed/, the aim is only 20Mbps, so work out the math, 5Mbps x 2 = 10 Mbps next yr, times 2 again in two yrs = 20 Mbps rclxms.gif
It's also weird to touch on this rm149 5Mbps which no longer available for general subscription

knowing TM, double your speed should be doable for all packages, but price reduce by 50% hmm.gif hmm.gif
i'll be glad to eat humble pie come 2018 though devil.gif

-.-......Which mean TM will start to enforce the quota system soon.......I rather have unlimited data with 5Mbps than 20Mbps with 65GB quota (download + upload)

And what makes you think to have that assumption? Why can't have both? Other broadband services are doing that.

Come on 5Mbps is too slow by today's standard.

We need to buck up.

Yeah with wired connection that I plug from my laptop to my tp link or RG4332 router I get 30mbps full speed. The issue that RG4332 gives is that it only gives arounnd 16mbps wirelessly to both my laptop and pc while my phone has no issue getting full 30mbps bangwall.gif . May I know which wireless adapter you're currently using? Or any recommendation on which one to buy, USB based preferrably?

So far UniFi benchmarks has been all about penetration rate and minimum package speed.

UniFi VDSL2 users may not even get 50Mbps, let alone 100Mbps.

So what will TM offer to VDSL2 users on UniFi Advance 30 now for the same price?? This issue has not been addressed.

I've been begging TM to upgrade from 5 - 10mbps for months, a lot of ppl on 5 still yet to be upgraded.

I was saying the implementation of FUP. I know it was mentioned in VIP plans but didn't implement until today. Luckily Advance plans have no FUP mentioned anywhere.

By the way, regarding relocation. I'm now staying in the second room (total 4 rooms) and TM actually pulled the cable to my room. For my new place, I will be staying at the last room, assuming if I'm willing to pay for the cabling, will they still pull it over or any criteria must be fulfilled? Like the condition of the ceiling? It's the same type of ceiling in my current room.
