Guys, I'm planning to upgrade my current VIP5 to the new 30Mbps package. Is there anyway to actually remove the hypptv from the package? I just hate hypptv as I don't use it so it's kinda a waste for me

Is it me or is Unifi connection is having an issue? I only get 20mb dl 10mb ul for my 30mbps connection. Just upgraded today so not sure what is causing it.

Currently using TP-LINK WN821N 300mbps wireless adapter and TP-LINK TL-WR841HP router. Do my equipments support the 30mbps connection?

Upgrade plan TM no give new router ?
*
The person at TMPoint told me to call 100 to request the technician to come over to my place and give the new router. I haven't done that just yet cause I thought theoritically my router should be able to cater 30mbps just fine since the router is 300mbps capable lol. I tried tweaking the bandwidth channel and on my PC the highest I got so far is 25mbps and on my phone I managed to get 28 to 29mbps a few times. So I suspect my PC's wireless adapter might be the issue

Yes I know.. what setting to set ?
I tried change channels 6,11 same...

But my LAN also encounter lag slow issue..
*
My bad. Mine is currently set on channel 8 for single band 2.4ghz as the router doesnt support dual band

I found interesting stuff.Using my huawei RG4332 TM router, I can get full 30mbps wirelessly on my smartphones and tablets, but on my pc using tplink receiver, I barely get 15mbps

WHen I switch the router to my tplink, my phones' speed fluctuates between 20mbps to 25mbps and on my pc, it increases to 20mbps but still not 30mbps.

This is killing me lol. Looks like I gotta ask for the new router from TM, maybe changing my pc wireless adapter as well

Rg4332 better than your tplink router I think..
Changing your wireless adapter better..
How about using LAN ? Speed consistent?
*
Yeah with wired connection that I plug from my laptop to my tp link or RG4332 router I get 30mbps full speed. The issue that RG4332 gives is that it only gives arounnd 16mbps wirelessly to both my laptop and pc while my phone has no issue getting full 30mbps bangwall.gif . May I know which wireless adapter you're currently using? Or any recommendation on which one to buy, USB based preferrably?

If I get a new 802.11ac dual band router from TM technician to replace my RG4332 router, can I connect to the 5ghz Wi-Fi spectrum using my wireless N 300 receiver without dual band or do I have to get a new receiver?

almost 1 year already. What do u suggest to fix this problem? I am not getting 30mb dl speed, and recently i started to play dota2 and almost every game is very spiky and lag.

Are you using the RG4332 silver router? If yes then you're having the same issue like me. Have to change router, preferably a dual band router as in my case seems like my 2.4GHz band is just too congested with my neighbor's wifi

Good for you...so why did the TM technician did?
*
I did not call the technician. I called TM 100 and the staff told me that I gotta pay rm200 for the new router + RM53 for the technician to come over and replace the router. So I went to my storage and turned out I found my old powerline kit from a few years ago and it works perfectly

you mean the router's power adapter was faulty and caused the low speed is it?
*
No the router works fine, but I think because it cannot penetrate through so many walls at my house (probably cause it's a cheap wireless N router, thus the range it can cover is limited), the speed that I got on my PC using wireless adapter is only about 15 out of 30mbps. So I used my old powerline kit adapter (those adapter that you plug to your power socket and from it you just plug your ethernet cable) and I got full 30mbps since the connection is no longer connected through wireless connection.

This is the powerline adapter kit I was talking about

oh great, maybe I might need one too.  how much roughly for it?
*
Depending on speed & features. Some can act as wifi extender as well. Mine is an AV2 500mbps type without wifi and AC passthrough feature, IIRC I bought it around 110 for one pair. TP LINK POWERLINE
