The Courts officer  informed me during my exchange she had even accepted a cracked display Gold unit yesterday!
Despite Courts clear Facebook instructions I was not allowed to keep the accessories. As this was just a minor issue to me I just let it go n not make any trouble for her. She was acting on her superior's instructions to collect back a full set.

I lost my old S pen and the motherboard cooked (due to overheating according to Samsung SC), Courts still accept it. But the new pen is wobbly (the clicking part to secure the pen in phone), not as solid as before. Anyone else S pen is the same, loose and wobbly?

mine just wiggle very slightly, both pre-replacement and post-replacement unit. it seems like the orientation which you put in matters.

but my volume buttons quite wobbly though. power and home is fine. i wonder if wobbly volume/power button affects water resistance?

From what i read, the wobbly Spen may make it easily get stuck in the Spen silo. If possible, better get it changed to a solid type one.

Sigh. Apparently the guy who I was suppose to switch my silver for his black bailed I guess. I tried calling him multiple times. Sadness. I guess I will just stick some black stickers on my Note 7.

I really liked the pure black phone. We switched before the recall. After the recall, I kept calling him but he doesn't want to pick up. I am guessing he wants to keep the recalled Black phone.

Sadness. Sigh. Not sure why he didn't even tell me no. I mean I would understand if you say you don't want to trade anymore. I been messaging and calling this person for nearly a week+ now. Been keeping the phone in this fancy case to avoid any scratches and stuff.

Feeling so bitter about it still. But I just have to let go of it. sad.gif I mean I like Titanium Silver but Black's just way too nice.

Any1 use the app "easyhome for Samsung" ? To touch the home button instead of pressing it. I like it but it is inconsistent & randomly stops working.

You must make sure it's not closed by Samsung's Battery Maintenance software.

But it does crash quite often though. I use it often smile.gif

If new replacement Note 7 still caught fire, I think Samsung should refund all Note 7 and keep it off market. Saves all the hassle and further bad news.

Uncle Benny, I did try to Livechat with SME and they actually send a full memo to Courts with regards to the accessories (not required full/give back). I am still waiting for them the clarify with Courts. The CS said she will escalate this to management. Some branch allow to keep the accessories though.

I will let you know the outcome once they contact me back (which the CS said she will!).

I'm using it too. Yes not consistent. Every other hour must restart the services.
Its already removed from the battery optimiser list. Not sure why the services keep stopping

Ya, deep investigate shall be done include current Note7 design. This is security concern, cannot be simply cover up.

ehh....u guys know how tat guy check his phone is affected unit or not arr in the article??

and also this 1 "His Note 7 also had a green battery icon and a black square symbol on the device’s packaging; both of these indicate that Green’s Note 7 is indeed a replacement unit."

Got this kind of thing mei?
*
New replacement unit box came with a square box to indicate this is replacement unit.

New replacement unit get software update and show the battery icon in green and no 60% cut off charging.

According to the latest progress, it seems that Note 7 is in the hands of America authority. Samsung released announcement saying that so far they cannot confirm whether the whole incident was related to Note 7 or not since they have not received the damaged phone yet. The news is already out. The plane stopped. All passengers evacuated. Pics, videos, the box, the imei number showed in the Verge article (people checked the imei number in Samsung imei site and confirmed it's replacement unit), all those proves that the phone is indeed a replacement Note 7. Not sure why Samsung still deny the fact that it was the Note 7 that made the whole crews and passengers to evacuate the plane.

I am not biased on any side in this case. But I do think that Samsung's announcement is some what ambiguous. Why not they just admit it and investigate it asap? hmm.gif

Ya added to the unmonitored list. So it the software's bug. But I think the previous version more stable b4 exchange. How about the usage data access? On or off ? Makes no difference to me
