If I am about to lose faith in Note7 (or perhaps w Samsung too), what is possibly the closest call for me as an exchange? Other than Fruit phones.
I just wonder. This may sounds crazy, but Honor8 and Mate8 does a good job iinm. (Other than their lousy camera). I am also waiting for the V20 and Mate9 but there is no specific date yet. I might surrender mine to a new owner once I get the replacement unit. Makes me have little time to browse around and see what cant be unseen. I've been with Samsung for almost 7 years with 10 devices already!
Inb4, TLDR.
As many mentioned, LG V20 is a great choice and LG phone is real awesome also. You can have chances to try others manufacturer phone, off course you need to forgot S Pen 1st as Samsung Note series is the only phone came with pen now.

Can see the smudgy part. Buy I hand itchy scrapped off the glue outside d. Those are inside the seal. But doesn't matter me much. Just hopefully won't affect the IP68 can d.
Cmon la...not something new la. Just a rehash of the the story from few days ago...just look at the date of the YouTube upload. Don't be an alarmist pls.
I know it is few days ago but no one mentioned it, it is not the one from Korean replacement unit.
Also catch in video, few days ago, it is just 27/Sept and China version is so call safe, but now total report case already 3, or maybe more than it.
Which means it is not safe until where. Samsung shall investigate more, probably not only the battery catch the fire, maybe design issue also.
Oh my note 7 is on fire, let's put it on a Macbook and spoil the Macbook too. Oh, and let's take another phone to make a video. Isn't the above sound stupid?
I think that person plugin the phone at Mac and put on top of it.
Unless that person is so stupid / too rich let it burn on top the Macbook.

even this particular china case has some doubts casted on it and almost 1 week later no fresh developments on it.
i really dont understand why until now ppl still want to post these kind of "fried rice" news. and yes, li-on battery technology is not guaranteed safe. thats why you have exploding iphones and Xiaomis too (btw, also happens past few days you should also posts this if it interests you so much). and btw, way back in 2007 Nokia phones also exploded.
if really want to help out the community with unbiased news, why not post some positive news too? eg, after US recall almost 2 weeks d, probably more than 60% returned and so far no new cases reported. this is pertinent, given that from the 1st batch US had the highest number of reports previously.
I didn't notice it.
iPhone 7 Plus also burn, people also post and no one complain. Why is that a rules cannot post such news is it?
No positive news to post. Note7 not even return back to market, what positive news you want to heard. lol
Don't like to see then just ignore it.

compare audio quality between mate 8 and note 7 using earphone, mate 8 deliver much better audio quality and much enjoyable to listen with. quite disappointed with note 7 audio quality.
brief comparison between this two phone. Camera - Note 7, no doubt Sceen - Note 7 Design - Note 7 UI - Note 7 Feature - Note 7, S-Pen, IP68, curve screen Smoothness - Mate 8 Battery Life - Mate 8 Audio - Mate 8
I never own Mate 8 and Note7 but I own before P9 Plus and S7 Edge.
it's very difficult to like the Pixel aesthetically. The (EMPTY!) bottom bezels looks as big as the Note 7 top and bottom combined! But at least the overall physical dimension is smaller than the iphone 7p.
N7 (5.7") 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm Pixel XL (5.5") 154.7 x 75.7 x 8.6 mm IP7 (5.5") 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm
pricing of $770 for XL is also very difficult to swallow.
I am OK with design but the price...
The event yesterday is freaking boring, too much talk in the Google Assistant which not really useful for me.
Just wait and see what is the investigation report. Nowadays alot case turn out to be cause by external source. I think samsung will quickly investigate on this one as with the last few day case in youtube.
I very curious regarding how his note 7 can get overheating after power off? I thought the issue for the note 7 caught fire is battery overheating, isn't it?
let's wait & see what Samsung have to say about today case.
sure there's no hanky panky involved because it's happen in plane with a lot of people on board.

today's issue considered serious... coz it bascially burn a plane... though not entirely... but anything to do with planes... serious issue. which is why the US Dept also investigating this...

hope there's no cover up by any of the parties involved.
it's getting people worried now
Ya, deep investigate shall be done include current Note7 design. This is security concern, cannot be simply cover up.
