interest rate on my certificate is 3.6%.
Pointing the "info" beside it state the campaign interest rate for 6 and 12 months.

So i would assume that mine is promotional rate??
deposited last month on NOV 5

Anyway, I agreed with u on Maybank GIA-i as their offer keeps depositor suspense throughout the duration

What make u use the term insincere on BR ? I never used the term on any banks. Just because I said I am MIA ?

No lah as I tot u said BR is not sincere on 3.95%

When did I say that ? U have mixed up during reading ? I have big exposure in BR.

well what I know u should get 3.6% as it's still under promo & new quota starts at 1 Nov.

I suggest u seek clarification

Need to calculate the effective interest rate as both FDs must be opened with equal amount and minimum must be 20k for total two.

If A = 15k
B must be 15k

What are other terms & conditions? Even if equal amount, you can just transfer out once shorter term deposit matures. Just pain in the ass to uplift.

*Hint* if you're an xclusive member & in klang valley, go to BR HQ at Brickfields, they have lots of diary & calendar stock there.

if it show 3.6%, then should be under campaign rate...
how u calculate the rate that get less than 3.55%, even if they treat ur placement as normal placement, u suppose to get 3.55%..

check ur calculation again, MBB use 366 days as base.. n the new interest rate of 3.55% kick in only on 16 Nov

300k AUM. At one time there was long discussion on this, like 2 years ago when they introduced this membership. I received the card through post.

The old timers would know about the 300k requirement for xclusive member
I think off & on there are some gifts also but I am very seldom in that area.
