not if you are a premier banking customer which you can uplift at any branch. I can even place the fd without the need going to their branch as my rm will come and visit me to get the necessary thumbprint and submit on behalf of me

RHB has played "dirty". Instead of letting member get member with incentives of RM388, they auto upgrade the customers. Some of the people I know including myself were auto upgraded.

U are CIMB, MBB PB customer and probably more banks. Too humble lah !
