Anyone knows which bank has the best 3 and 6 months FD promo rates?

I presume they won't display rate if placement is via online

Went to Maybank tis morning
The BM informed tat they have just re-open the promo 6 mths n 12 mths GIA-i n the response was encouraging

don't think would display rate if placement via online

HLB Extended Tuesday special until end of the year ya

Those that are receiving the interest please confirm if they are receiving the monthly interest as 3.6% or something in between 3.55% and 3.6% ? Someone reported getting less than 3.6% last week. Though another forummer said he received 3.6%.

I will furnish update here as my placement was under joint name n I have choose to credit mthly dividend into her CASA

I have placed it online (using phone) and checked both in phone browser and app (quick balance). Both shows 3.6%

Right, I can see my gia rate at 3.60 then 3.55% in MBB app under option Quick Balance. However, didn't see rate under option Maybank2u, it's only show rate at maturity date or something i don't remember.
Place via online.

And, received interests rated as between 3.6 - 3.55%

Got a reply from MBB ytd stating my placement captured as normal GIA placement instead of the campaign GIA. They said they liasing with relevant department to check further.

CS says 3.6%

I wonder why whenever they have promotion on FD, it's not reflected online on their ebanking homepage?

Most of the time must walk in and inquire over counter

U need to check with them whether they can fixed tis problem once n for all
Otherwise, u need to call them every mth to rectify the same problem

Same issue as mine except yours is online placement and mine was OTC.

My resolution was by calling the branch and talk to the officer. They manually bank in the interest for me for the last 6 months that I am affected. But yours seemed to be whole 1 year. I was lucky that I don't have to call them every mth after that.

Suggest for u to go and call the branch. More direct and if interest not banked in, u know who to talk to.

MBB staff really incompetent...this kind of silly mistake..
Make sure they can solve.. If not big headache later..
