My spouse just updated her SA passbook
Confirmed Maybank pay 1st mth int @ 3.60% (based on 366 days) for the 12 mths GIA-i campaign

May I know when is ur placement, MBB replied n said the 12 months quota is full during my placement, therefore I'm. It entitled for campaign rate..

My placement was on 1st Nov as I have missed d boat in Oct 16

As I know the campaign start 16 Oct, I placed on 25 Oct online. Urs is 1 Nov OTC.. I've shoot a email to them based on their tnc.. hope they rectify it b4 I file a complaint to BNM.

M not sure whether u can view your placement in m2u
If yes, it will show -> Interest rate : 3.6% i
If u placed mouse at i, it will display GIA 6 n GIA 12 campaign together with indicative int rate

I've checked, it shown as 3.55%

Did Maybank indicate when they will reply to u?

Did you fulfill the 10k min requirement per placement ?

Based on latest reply is I not entitled for that.. so I just tell them I placed within the campaign period and impossible I didn't get it.. n some of u placed later than me also get campaign rate. Now is waiting for their reply for my further queries on that..

Yes, 10k.. their excuse is their quota full for 12months placement.

just uplifted from eGIA then put into GIA-i Promo 12mth.

put 10k, via m2u desktop.

after placement, m2u shows "rate as declared upon maturity". m2u app shows 3.55%.

guess no more eligible for the promo.

mean depend on performance?
or is surely interest given as listed?

interested to put into GIA but once see the name "investment" then scare d

i still feel HLB offer is the best so far..

Maybank GIA-i indirectly is similar to FD but w/o PIDM protection
If u choose mth to mth, u will surely get int but the rate will vary
However, if u choose current promo of 6 mths n 12 mths, u shud get rate as per their indication

Just curious to know, I choose "add to principle" for monthly profit payment for GIA 12 months campaign, will I get compound interest for that?

I read that placement is online for this deal. But curious if it can be done over the counter... wanna go to branch & ask SYT to do for me

I don't think u are eligible for the promo rate as my friend also got only 3.55%

When is ur friend placement? But wil-I-am got 3.6% for placement made on 1 Nov, which is later than me..
Anyway, if they don grant me the rate, I will just move it elsewhere as 4.1% not really attractive for 12 months placement.
