Based on my experience if the back screw has warranty sealed sticker need to remove carefully by using plier without damaging it, if need RMA just install back the default cooler.

depends on where the manufacturer put the sealed sticker..gently remove it before installing your cooler..

but for some manufacturer, even if the sticker torn up a bit, they still accept RMA. Mine clearly the seal has been tampered with, but Asus still accept

I sent to TechView and these guys probably the fastest shop I've been, got replacement card in just 2 weeks.

The faulty card that I've got now does have different S/N than before though. and I can say for sure it's a different card as my previous faulty one have a bit of permanent stains on it's metal I/O panel and a bit of pen ink on the serial number sticker, but this new card is clean.

g104Below is the screenshot of the 2 packages. Looks like the RM 23 is for GOTY Edition Upgrade. I don't know if the RM 18.75 includes all DLC or not. First time buying Shadow of Mordor, so I'm not that familiar with the game yet.

So far the only single GPU card that can actually play games in 4K in max setting, so that's the main use. If gaming at 1080P or 1440P, or having weak CPU, guess it doesn't make much sense.

And like our bro here getting 2 x Titan XP for SLI , I think he's planning to move beyond 4K gaming already or maybe eyeing that 4K 144 Hz monitor that is rumored to come out in not so distant future.

Game of the Year version usually includes all DLCs.

If you click on the store page, you generally won't be able to buy the DLC if you own the GOTY version.

The GTX 1070 is really king of 1440P. Crank up everything and run at 1440P and running at 60fps... so pretty.

Two Titan X Pascal and one SLI HB Bridge shipped. I guess I can continue with the rest of the system upgrade: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR4-3200, some mag lev Corsair case fans, and turning the entire theme of the rig green.

By the way Bro, previously I asked a favor from you. You play pCars with VR right? So need your advice. During thunderstorm race, does the fps drop below 90 fps? Coz my test with monitor, looked like i'm severely bottleneck by my CPU. 1080P, 1440P or 4K, all around 60+ fps only. Clear weather, then only go up to 120 fps.

Yes. Anything other than medium settings at 1080p in rain, pCars in VR is a stutterfest and will make you puke. Even with reprojection enabled, the severe framerate fluctuations makes it really unplayable. In clear weather it's fine.

I play with reprojection disable if I can. That tells me if the rig is powerful enough to handle 90fps without frame drops and if it does, the signs are obvious. With reprojection on, the game tries to keep the whole game together at 45fps, but it will fall apart eventually. Or you can game on the Rift with its Asynchronous Timewarp feature, more forgiving than reprojection.

Both. Since they're heading the platform war route, certain games wont appear on another and vice versa. Sure, I can use ReVive to inject Rift games into SteamVR and play it that way, but too much work and no official support.

Just got EverestVR yesterday, and still havent got time to play that yet. Busy handling the mess Nvidia made with the Titan X Pascal launch, they reused the same credit authorization agent HTC used for their Vive launch (Digital River), and that was a mess of epic proportion. At least I can breathe easy now that the cards and bridge has shipped.

HTC Vive and Oculus Rift works as a 3DTV with 3D content playback as well. Just use Virtual Desktop or BigScreen app media players.

Leaked PSVR user manual point towards requiring a larger VR space setup than Rift or Vive, possibly due to the innaccuracy of the PS Camera in detecting depth and 3D location in VR space compared to the lightstations on the Vive or the Rift's depth sensor. I'm not sure I have that luxury of space in my home at the moment.

Don't get Skyrim. It was on sale for more than 75% off previously (if not mistaken).

You can copy from somebody who has the game installed on Steam (via HDD) and paste it in your Steam folder.

Then you will need to get Steam to "discover" this folder by way of installing.

I'm just scared the hype train of No Man's Sky will crashed, so I'm holding off from pre-order now and wait real world review first.

Not sure if current price are good, as before Skyrim Legendary was at lower retail price. They increase the price after announced Remastered edition are free upgrade from Legendary.
I bought my Legendary edition at RM37.50 ( which I cant recall at what discount ) last year.

i playing 3d on most of my games like Tombraider, and the sequel rise, resident evil 5, etc are awesome those games are optimized for stereoscopic 3d, the camera angle and composition its meant to be play on 3d, added depth and immersion. only problem is 3dtv Play plug in u have to buy from nvidia its stupid expensive!!! USD 39.99 NO DISCOUNT!! just to unlock the plug in thats already installed on your driver... stupid nvidia, so instead of buying i just uninstall 3dtv play after 10 days, clean registry then reinstall it ,damn hassle.....


UPDATE FOLKS! i just brought Palit jetstream gtx 1070 yesterday via GEMFIVE voucher, discount Rm250, for rm1760 only & free delivery... its even cheaper than a fella selling his used on here hehee....

After looking at new TITAN X performance, 2 X 1080 would be a better deal. Searching for 1080 start now

Well, with single Titan X, you almost guarantee getting between 20% to 50% performance bump in gaming. With GTX 1080 SLI, anything between -5% to +90% scaling depending on game.

I dun even know if my OC is truly stable or if i'm doing it right..lol..just playing around..

I have tweak the Thunder Master setting a bit.. Clockspeed and Memory value a bit higher than Super Jetstream model..without tampering with the voltage..

right now using 1655Mhz Base Core Clock and 4118MHz Memory clock..

played Witcher 3 for 20 minutes or so on ultra setting with hairworks off..no issues..FPS maintain 60..Temperature around 64 celsius..

good lor.and remember send that gpu for 4th time rma ya 😅

Some games only. Rise of the Tomb Raider DX12 apparently -13% going from single to SLI. Still waiting for someone to sort that SLI out before I buy the game. Err I'm putting that number based on nl.hardware.info review. Not my own info. If go GTX1080 SLI and don't get performance increase you expect, don't blame me arrrrr. Also based on my other readings, good CPU also contributes to the scaling.

Kinda shitty Titan X don't have custom AIB versions. It can OC to 2000Mhz if the fan speed is increased to 80% (noisy).
