Guys, need a bit of help...  Seems like my pc is a never ending disaster after gotten my new Palit 1070. Now pc would randomly reboot itself within 5 minutes of gameplay....  Both Cpu and gpu Temps are within normal range during idle or load.

FYI, my spec is i5-4670k, 8gb ddr 3, asrock z87 extreme 6, samsung Evo 850 240gb ssd, Palit gamerock 1070, seasonic 550w 80 plus gold.

Ps: all drivers are up to date except I haven't upgrade windows anniversary update. All reboot and without bsod. Event viewer lodge as kernel power error 41.

Recommended for higher, but it is enough.

I'm on 550W for more than 3 years I think, i5 2500K OCed, 8GB DDR3, 1070 Gamerock, Xonar sound card, Evo 850 SSD, 3 old HDDs, water pump, 7 case fans. one LED strips. Survived both 660ti and 4870 

I would go with Asus ROG Strix GTX1080 OC edition.

Better cooler and a more trusted brand for me, personally.

I had bad experience with MSI motherboards long time ago. They didn't last as long as my Asus counterparts.

heh, every enthusiast knows that double 290X is asking for trouble despite the gains in performance, dont need much proof esp when AMD themselves set 95C as the thermal throttle limit. 2x95C is ALOT considering how much we suffer just with a single at 80+C

Nope haven't hentam because I haven't face any issue with it.

However I hentam the lack of backplate for 1060 AMP and that ugly backplate on 1070 AMP.

guys, recently i am facing pc auto restart or freeze issue. It is totally unpredictable random freeze, sometimes on idle, sometimes on casual gaming like dota 2.

What i have test
-----------------------------
-reinstall windows 10 and 8 (Don't help)
-OC and Non-OC setup, re-flash Bios to default setting. (Don't help)
-Prime 95 CPU Stress (Can't trigger the freeze, Stress to 50c+ in 1 hour)
-FurMark GPU Stress (Can't trigger the freeze, Stress to 60-70c in 1 hour)

Most of the parts is new. Other than i7 ES.

Need advice thanks. No idea which part went wrong.

The prices of their GPUs are quite reasonable over here:

1. GTX1080 around RM2,500
2. GTX1070 around RM1,685
3. GTX1060 (6GB) around RM1,150

Stocks are readily available.

I am using the rate that I can get from money changer over here which is around IDR 3,450 to IDR 3,500 per MYR.
