Hi Guys, anyone get a good overclock for Palit GTX1070 Jetstream, i can only get +125 on core clock and 700 of Mem, such bad OC..

my Palat GTX 1070 gamerock kaput already..1 long beep followed by 3 beeps. change to my old card and no more beeps.

Any other method to check on the issue? cause sometimes it is fine for few days.

It might. That processor is many generations old, and DDR2 if I'm not mistaken.

The GTX 1050 I expect it to be around GTX 970 level performance, will get my GTX 1050 Ti tomorrow.

Those of you who read my speculation in earlier pages - let's just say my speculation is OFF.

If you are using 144hz monitor now, i had to say the difference is not that much.

Let me tell you my experience.

When I first bought the XB271HU, I ran it with my R9 290 at 144Hz. Compared to my old 1080p 60Hz monitor, running the game at 40-60fps, almost 80% stutter is gone and it feel alot smoother even without Gsync. I also hardly noticed any tearings.

After I got the GTX 1070 and enabled Gsync, I can say the rest 20% of stutter is gone so just smooth. Still 40fps felt around the same, you cannot suddenly made 40fps became smooth as 60fps but the fluidity of movement is there.

So with Gsync you get no tearing and the smoothness is improved by a little bit.

Just bought Asus strix 1070. So far all games okay for i5 3470. But how come only dota where the fps isnt max? 70-90 FPS only. The gpu fan not even running

Use MSI Afterburner to see in game on your CPU & GPU usage %.

In my past experience using i5 4440 3.1Ghz: CPU bottlenecked in dota, can see all four cores 90%+ in afterburner. GTX1070 is a very fast card for 1080p and 1440p, sometimes i5 non-overclocked can't keep up. I also CPU bottlenecked on Rise of Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Unity, The Witcher 3, all on 1440p.

Now I'm using 6600k 4.5Ghz, Assassin's Creed syndicate still shows CPU at 95%, dota also 90%+, but dota 2 fps increased by around 20-50%. I set max fps to 165 cos that's the max my monitor can support.

Well if Intel releases i5 line with 8 hyperthreading...then i7 will not exist.

Unless new future i7 technology can make the 4 cores "extra hyperthread" to 12 threads lol
