depends on where the manufacturer put the sealed sticker..gently remove it before installing your cooler..

but for some manufacturer, even if the sticker torn up a bit, they still accept RMA. Mine clearly the seal has been tampered with, but Asus still accept

My RMA-ed R9 280x I just received replacement yesterday.

And still have the same issues (artifacts, flickering during gaming). Fark la. This is the THIRD time for god sake.

goldfries PowerSlide , you guys know who's the distributor for Asus GPU in this country?

I really need to ask those cunts whether throughout the three RMA cases they just 'service' my faulty gpu (literally just replace thermal paste and dusting) or did they actually replace it with other cards.

On the side note, can I complain to Tribunal Pengguna about this though?

I bet TechView sent to Build Tech. heard a lot of complaints from this distri.

I sent to TechView and these guys probably the fastest shop I've been, got replacement card in just 2 weeks.

The faulty card that I've got now does have different S/N than before though. and I can say for sure it's a different card as my previous faulty one have a bit of permanent stains on it's metal I/O panel and a bit of pen ink on the serial number sticker, but this new card is clean.

right now using 1655Mhz Base Core Clock and 4118MHz Memory clock..

played Witcher 3 for 20 minutes or so on ultra setting with hairworks off..no issues..FPS maintain 60..Temperature around 64 celsius..

nahh i'm just gonna sell it. tomorrow got buyer.. already mindwashed him by repeatedly saying "if there's any problem, just send for RMA at any shop"...lol meaning, don't give back to me..just send for RMA by yourself..

I'm done with this piece of shit..hopefully the buyer will just play mediocre games like Dota and such instead of AAA games so he won't noticed the issues..

the double sided tape is not so sticky..will drop after few days if not weeks..

also, I was expecting that the 60cm single color LED strip can be connected together with the multicolor hub, but disappointingly it cannot be used together..haizz..

anyone else don't know what else to do on their PC after upgrade GPU like me?

been 2 weeks since upgraded to GTX1060, but there's no AAA games that can entertain me..

first week, OC-ed the GPU a bit, then test a couple games..after that, constantly turned on PC and straight go to FB, /k and utube...

BF4 boring ady..and its graphic detail doesn't see much improvement even after already crank settings to the ultra...Witcher 3 lazy to replay back from the start..No Man's Sky not my type..

all of them not yet come out mang..waiting for that BF1 eagerly.. will play the beta on this 31st august..

after deus ex: mankind divided dx12 benchmark came out, i'm getting worried whether more future AAA DX12 games will favor RX480 more than the GTX1060..

hopefully my decision to sell my RX480 in exchange for GTX1060 long time ago is not a mistake
