Both. Since they're heading the platform war route, certain games wont appear on another and vice versa. Sure, I can use ReVive to inject Rift games into SteamVR and play it that way, but too much work and no official support.

Just got EverestVR yesterday, and still havent got time to play that yet. Busy handling the mess Nvidia made with the Titan X Pascal launch, they reused the same credit authorization agent HTC used for their Vive launch (Digital River), and that was a mess of epic proportion. At least I can breathe easy now that the cards and bridge has shipped.

HTC Vive and Oculus Rift works as a 3DTV with 3D content playback as well. Just use Virtual Desktop or BigScreen app media players.

You can copy from somebody who has the game installed on Steam (via HDD) and paste it in your Steam folder.

I am using zotac gtx 1060 mini and due to the nature of the cooler i am scared it wont stay stable after oc.

So my question is how to determine what is the safe limit for oc?

I am using msi afterburner.

Previously the temp hover around 80+ when gaming but i started playing with the fan curve the max temp reach only 60+.

agree. 550w seems low based on your specs. plus if u overclock / have alot of components in your rig (like multiple casing fans, cooler, leds, etc)

go for 750w, since the price 750w vs 650w is very minimal

Yes the double sided tape sucks, regardless of which strip you use.

Actually those 3M tapes work fine at the start but LCDs do get hot, and not only that they will bend. In the end all comes loose.

As for the receptor hub, yeah you need to know how to hide it. Casing with PSU shroud will look better.

So far none of the RGB strips I've used is as satisfying as this.

the mobo no need change la - black is good enough.
the case inside you can spray on your own - bcoz not many case has white color for the inside.
and use same brand/color match for your fan. that rear black/white fan look sexy - change it to the above 2 as well 

the gpu power cable mayb you can rout it via behind for more cleaner look. just my 2 cents
