trust me get a min 650W. FYI, 550W is not enough but i recommend get at least 750W for more head-room.

agree. 550w seems low based on your specs. plus if u overclock / have alot of components in your rig (like multiple casing fans, cooler, leds, etc)

go for 750w, since the price 750w vs 650w is very minimal

Hopefully, insufficient power is the culprit behind your issue. I am assuming your rig was running fine before you introduced the 1070 to it.

Dont be silly, 550W is alot for his specs

i5 - ~95W TDP
GTX1070 - 150/160W
HDD - ~10W
Total : ~300W

It wont even stress the Seasonic Gold PSU at all even at max load (PSUs perform best at 50-90% range of their total supported wattage)

Seasonic G series? Check the cables maybe?
