If I am not mistaken, the 300mb in the example that you gave, cannot be carried forward in both the old and new Season pass. The "data carried forward" in the XOX advertisement is misleading and just a word play that you can carry forward only the "unactivated" data. I was of the same thought as you previously until clarified by some XOX representatives here. I wish XOX could be clearer and honest in their advertisement and not use word play resulting in confusion.

Just disable Auto Renewal. Renew manually when needed.

Hello there !

Kindly refer to SP Plus FAQ at http://xox.com.my/support/faq/?faq=season-pass-plus

SP Plus renewal is at the end of the 30 day subscription cycle and happens with sufficient credit balance. If renewal fails due to any reason (ie. insufficient balance / account inactive) then subscription renewal is automatically canceled. There is no multiple renewal attempt.

User must re-subscribe to SP Plus again after all normal conditions (ie. sufficient credits, account active etc) for subscription are met..

There will be a cooling period once port in. This is also apply to all MNP process.

During this period, you may not receive TAC. But after that, shouldn't have any problem.

There is a workaround if you didn't want to wait for cooling period to end:

1. Call bank said that you just change your telco (MNP)
2. Change phone no in the ATM machine to another, then change back to original no

Just found out the auto renewal trick today, the hard way. What a scummy practice.

I like how I am overloaded with all kinds of notices, I got at least 10+ SMS about promotions but there is mysteriously no info about how the company will eat your entire data balance on month 2.

Usually almost all telco have their own T&C for Great Offer..
It not a scummy practice but I will usually blame on user as never practice due diligence...

But the uncle will happily compensate me because that's how they get repeat business.

Everyone need to be aware of any offer or promotion as such promotions usually come with t&c

OneXoX gives FREE 28 month validity with minimum topup.
I think that the main reason to port in or sub to it.. Right?

Now.. Tell me which Telco gave so generous FREE 28 validity.
And that is the only good point about it.. Validity.

So what type user are you then?
If you want more data as can see from your ranting..

The best deal will be Tunetalk.. 20GB monthly but need to pay upfront rm200 so that allocation of 20GB monthly for 1 year.
But then.. Make sure never ever use more than 20GB monthly coz it will immediately PAYU after finish your 20GB for that month.

And then another Digi offering 15GB monthly which can be purchase at rm90 estd but only valid up to July 2018.

So.. Take your pick lo.

Just get the SP+ and cancel the subscription right away, at least you get free stuff on first month added to your SP counters. I purchased RM50 SP+ and I get the freebies on top of just the 10GB.

I agree.

There's no free lunch on earth. When there's too good to be true, there's T&C. Before I port in, I read most of their FAQs and T&C, so that I won't blame them for my own mistake.

I bet moving to other telco will be the same if a person doesn't read carefully.

But u won't get the extra 2GB when u resubscribe to SP+ next time... (It'll be given on the next package renewal)

You can let the AutoRenewal function on..
That means.. if u subscribe 500MB/30 days the system will resubscribe you to the same plan (500MB/30 days) again after 30 days..
