Just found out the auto renewal trick today, the hard way. What a scummy practice.

I like how I am overloaded with all kinds of notices, I got at least 10+ SMS about promotions but there is mysteriously no info about how the company will eat your entire data balance on month 2.

Are you kidding me, this is the dictionary definition of a scummy practice.

I don't expect companies to try to scam me, and I continue to give business to companies that don't have such practices

Even the fruit sellers at the pasar, if I'm not satisfied with the fruit I bought, I can come back tomorrow and tell them, and the uncle has the right to say, don't remember anything, I don't know you, or a sale is a sale, why didn't you open the fruit in front of me? But the uncle will happily compensate me because that's how they get repeat business.

I understand there's nothing I can do, but if I can post in this thread and alert at least one other poor sap from being scammed, hey, it's good for me

You are smarter than me because you are suspicious enough to read all the EULA unlike me who just click next next next, so I don't mind some guy feeling superior on the internet for free.
