Some quick questions. I am currently on XOX 10gb + 10gb SP (new subscriber).

I would like to use the internet to check my emails and whatsapp when I am in Thailand or Singapore for a few days each time. I read somewhere that international roaming is switched on by default.

1. So when I am in these countries, I can automatically access internet without further configuration?

2. Will the cost of data usage be the same as in Malaysia?

3. If I purchase an additional voice SP, can I call or sms back Malaysia when I am in these countries?

I'm interested in the SP+ 30 but a little confused about RM30/30 days. It says 5gb + free 1gb data + 50 mins + 50 sms. Does it mean the 5gb data is burnt after 30 days while only the 1gb data + 50 mins + 50 sms remains in the SP+?

I am already on the SP FAT 5O currently. If I buy an additional SP+, I will have two Special Passes (SP and SP+). Do I need to draw down and renew the data, voices and sms separately each month? If I use data, which SP account will be used first?

If the SP+ data can be carried forward, then it does not matter if I auto renew 500mb, 1gb or 10gb every month because the unused data can be carried forward. Renewal is redundant. So it's better to have auto renewal switched on because of free gifts. Am I right?

I have received two answers but they did not answer my questions.

I bought the previous SP 50 where it was advertised 10gb + free 10gb. However not 20gb is entered into the SP wallet. Instead 10gb is burnt after 30 days and only 10gb went into the wallet.

This new SP+ 30 is advertised in the same manner 5gb + free 1gb +50mins + 50sms.

1. I am asking whether this new SP+ applies the same way as in the previous SP i.e will the 5gb be burnt after 30 days or the whole 6gb data goes to the SP wallet? The advertisement RM30/30 days denotes there is some time limit.

2. Say, if I activate the SP 500mb for 30 days and I used only 400mb this month, 100mb can be carried forward. If I activate SP 10gb for 30 days and I similarly used only 400mb, 9.6gb can be carried forward. So it does not matter whether one activates 500mb or 10gb for 30 days, it is the same - the unused portion can be carried forward and there is no loss in the SP wallet. This applies in both SP and SP+ scheme (as someone answered, this is grouped as 1 SP). This is what I meant by renewal redundancy - it doesn't matter how one activates the data plan (500mb, 1gb or 10gb for 30 days) or whether auto-renewal is set off or on, the end result to the SP wallet is the same as long as the unused portion can be carried forward. I just want to confirm what I understand here is correct.

Assuming that you are aware that the free 10GB monthly data plan you're enjoying at the moment will be auto-renewed at the end of the 30 days period then I will also assume that you already have turned-off the auto-renewal of the said data plan.

The XOX advertisement on SP+ states "the data you don't use this month can be carried forward FOREVER. No gimmick, no wastage, can share".

Which data does this refer to (i.e that can be carried forward)?

I have activated auto renew data 500mb for 30 days. However I used up 500mb data in 15 days. Can I activate another 500mb data after the 15th day? The 30 days period starts from the 15th day and the date keeps on rolling forward for each subsequent activation renewal, right? What if I now want to activate 1gb for 30 days, do I have to stop auto renewal of 500mb first?

If I am not mistaken, the 300mb in the example that you gave, cannot be carried forward in both the old and new Season pass. The "data carried forward" in the XOX advertisement is misleading and just a word play that you can carry forward only the "unactivated" data. I was of the same thought as you previously until clarified by some XOX representatives here. I wish XOX could be clearer and honest in their advertisement and not use word play resulting in confusion.

I have ample free unused 600 sms in my SP but in my counter the sms shows 0. I tried to send sms and *132# to check my balance but failed. Do I have to activate my sms from SP or do I need to configure some setting? How do I do that?

No wonder I cannot sms out or check balance. I thought my sms balance finished or something wrong with my setting. Would appreciate Xox send a notification to users once lines have been restored.

My internet data finished before end of subscription period. So I wanted to add data with extended period by *150#internet/subscribe from season pass/500mb for 30 days.

But instead the sms reply stated my subscription is active and did not add the internet data for me. How to I add to my data with an extended rolling period? If I use the sms method 22338/add data 500 the period remains the same as before.

Can anyone tell me why whenever I press semak baki ussd in onexox season pass or press *150# in dialer it gives me "connection problem or invalid mmi code" message. How can I overcome this?

SOLVED: I forgot to change the Apn back to xox in network setting after I switched sim cards. It's working now.

I am using XOX on my sim card Tenda 4G680 modem.

Is there any way I can renew my internet season pass through my tablet or hand phone without taking out the sim card from the modem and renew it in my hand phone by pressing *150#?

It is so cumbersome taking out the sim card from my modem, renew and putting it back to the modem again. I can't even check the balance of internet left in the modem on my tablet or hand phone.

Thanks for the heads up that Tenda can execute USSD code within the modem. I'm not aware of that.

How do I get to the firmware's screen for the USSD function from my Chrome browser?

I have two xox lines not used for a long time since 1-2 years ago and I checked under selfcare they are still active.

1. How can I prolong the active period?
2. The old onexox app can no longer be found in playstore. Do I have to download the black app and re-register my phone and personal details again?
3. How do I see the details (profile, plan, etc) of the 2nd phone no in selfcare?

Bear in mind that the validity shown could mean barred or blocked. You should really check in USSD *150*1# or *132# to confirm.

1. To add 1 year validity, send VALID 12 to 22111 for rm25 ... and it will be added to existing validity

2. Old onexox app no longer works ... get the new Black App and re-register with the old email ... can pm anyone you know here for the referral code to get the free 500mb data during registration ...

2a. The number 1st selected will be the main number shown and all other registered number(s) will be listed automatically after the 1st one.

3. In selfcare, you can add your other number(s) as sublines to manage (up-to 10 numbers)

the new black app is better and easier than the old onexox app ... you'll find it works better than selfcare ...

I have subscribed for SP50 and activated 500mb/month.

However, after rebooting I was not able to surf internet with data turned on. I suspect this may be due to the APN settings. I noticed that the Mobile Network APN setting auto set under simcard management is MY CELCOM 3G. Is this correct? What is the APN setting for XOX?

Until now I still can register under XOX Black app. The loading circle just kept on circulating.
