Those OG will know. Back in the days you need a minimum spend of RM 2k/month to get cashback and also unwaivable AF of RM 160.

Bloody hell this revised CB structure is totally not up to my spending pattern. Sad.

My AF is coming up real soon. Don't know what else is good for me out there any more. Even the uob one I don't find it that much attractive and I've heard a lot of issues with unauthorized charges nonsense

Can the SST for the VI be waived?
Also I read through some of the HLB BT in this forum, the payment due date for BT is not the same as the credit card statement due date?
You get a separate BT acc or something?
How does the HLB BT work actually?

SST can never be waived, it is a government tax.

Due date for every month is the same as your normal credit card statement due date but there is a BT expiry date is different and you will need to clear off the BT payment on the expiry date. That means if you take 6 months BT, you will still pay monthly BT installment like normal (usually 5%) and clear off the remaining balance on the expiry date.

Yes, separate account. Just pay to that account.

You can ask in BT thread as it has too much to answer: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3918057

Notify Overseas Travel - HLB

should be optional, best if to inform, in case their fraud monitoring system keeps flagging your overseas transactions and fraud team wanted to call you to verify
