Can someone confirm, that for this campaign, the annual fee will be waived?

https://www.hlb.com.my/en/personal-banking/...5-cashback.html

T&C: https://www.hlb.com.my/content/dam/hlb/my/i...c-offer-tnc.pdf

I'm interested in the Wise card but was told HLB very strict about no annual fee waiver. RM98 is quite a hit so been staying away, till I came across this campaign.

Okay thanks.

For online spend category, does it include any online transaction, or only for the specified merchants?

From T&C:

• Lazada
• Shopee
• Grab
• Foodpanda
• Touch N Go
• MYEG
• Spotify
• Netflix
• Apple Music
Note:
applicable to e-wallet
top ups and food
delivery transactions
as well

Need to clarify something about WISE credit card. Is max capping per category RM15 or RM18? Website says RM15, but in my email application it says RM18.

For online shopping at Lotus, Village Grocer or Watsons, does it fall under "Grocery" or "Online" category?

If I buy Samsung S22 today with a 0% EPP 24-month plan, but then decide that in 11 months time I want to cancel my card, is that possible? Can I just lump-sum payoff all the outstanding amounts?

Also, do monthly 0% EPP payments count towards the "monthly spend" threshold?

Yes you can. You may call CS and tell them you want to accelerate your installment balance. And then wait for the accelerated FPP appears on your CC transaction next day. Pay full amount of the total outstanding balance. Then wait next day until it appears RM0 outstanding then only you cancel the CC.

I did it last week. 🙂

Okay, but this is EPP, which I believe is different from FPP.

Current statement date is 28th of the month.

Cashback tiers counted based on statement date, but cashback itself counted based on calendar month.

Can someone explain how this works?

I thought Shopeepay Topup eligible for Wise Online Category spend? But I see my statement, it is classified as "All Retails" category. Can someone confirm?

Don't be misled by the statement, no "ONLINE" wording for category is currently available in the statement. (since new CB scheme effective 1-10-21)
Anyway, it was posted in Feb, you should get the answer by 31/3/22 (but most likely a few hours later today or tomorrow).

Tried to spend rm20 for rm20 tap tap promo. Transaction time 12:00:58, looks like didn't get it. Wasted around 30 seconds as the cashier tried to get the terminal to work.

Just wondering, what's the latest transaction you've done and got the RM5 or RM20 cashback?

Swipe at supermarkets, Guardian.
I avoid crowded places and I am buying not more than 3 items per visit.
So I can predict when I will swipe the CC.
Don't use Paywave, some merchants use offline approval (no real-time verification with a proper Approval code) then not eligible.
I am not agressive , I only play when I pass by the shops.

Oh didn't know about Paywave. I usually wave only. Both times I won, was with wave @ Aeon and Healthlane.
