For installment plans at the merchant end, e.g. when buy device at Samsung online store - when is the cashback and spend calculated?

E.g. spend RM1,200 for 12months 0%.

Is it counted as RM1,200 spend in the month of the transaction, or 1/12th every month thereafter when the installment is posted?

Similar, how does it work for cashback?

could be the melaka outlet, their acquirer bank gave them mcc 5813 as drinking places

You might be right, long time ago it was a pub before change to Brew House. ..rugi RM10 CB

to be safe, assume all drinking places as "drinking places":D

banks are quite picky/sensitive when assigning MCC to businesses with different nature (eg restaurant + drinking places)

also, if The Brew House tagged as Restaurant, then Islamic Cards can be spent there and...... the whole confusion/disputes with this

my experience with them all the while is 5813.

My approach to Wise this month onwards is.. topup RM1.5k into eWallet, then just focus on the remaining cashback categories. Seems quite straightforward

Just now i went Le Shrimp got buy 2 main course free 1 complimentary if use hlb cc to pay, but end up i pay with grab dine out deals, RM122.95 only pay RM77.21

Why 1500 when minimum spend is 500?

There is a revision that the bank has raised the minimum spending from RM500 to RM1,000 starting from this month.

So now Dine$133 Grocery&Phrm$150 Petrol$150 Shopeepay$1500 to get full 20+15+15+15=rm65 cb, effectively only 3.36% b4 AF+SST or 2.83% after AF+SST.

Or just do Dine$133 Grocery&Phrm$150 Petrol$150 Shopeepay$570 to get better rate 4 to 5%.
