You can but it may not entitle for Utilities category.
It is using the same gateway as MyTNB app which doesn't entitle for cash back under utilities category.

Total Amount Payable <RM0 won't have the [PAY] button. i dont have bill with exact RM0 amount to test.

Same as my problem last week when it was just up, I managed to do it just now. Anyway, the site is not stable.

Called yesterday, they said I fail to pay because Tnb changed to new system and we will have new 12 digit account no. All of our payments got to be done with new account no instead.

Then I tried to pay with the new number, but fail. It stated in uob pay online platform that it is invalid ACC number. Faint....

i change my category on 28th april from Grocery to Travel and HLB charge me travel maintanence fee on 30th april statad EFF June and i double confirm with CSO that my travel category will start effective in June only.

but i found out that my May transaction for Grocery under Sam Groceria is not entitle for CB. So i called HLB 4 times. First 3 time CSO couldnt give me an answer right away and promise to call back within 3 working days but all failed. the 4th one answer my question directly and said May i only entitle for Petrol and Mobile category where 1 of my category will be inactive until June only.

is this true? anyone of you encounter this situation before? shall i email HLB? or call again?

Why not a saving? Or maybe my calculation sucks. It is pretty straightforward for me. Instead of spending RM 1000 per month to get RM 100, I only need to spend RM 985 and I get the same RM 100. So every month I save RM 15 (from my pocket) and one year, I save RM 180. No?

Instead of spending RM 12000 per year to get RM 1200 cash back. I spend RM 11820 from my pocket per year to get RM 1200 cash back. That's already a difference of RM 180 there. I was saying a saving from my pocket, just as simple as that lo.

Only if the stuff is essential. For example in the case of TNB bill no matter what you still will have to pay (maybe use another card which gives some smaller cashback). But if its unnecessary stuff then its different.

Since the rebate is given based on the merchant code, then the is no point of arguing with the CS. You may check the merchant code with them first. Also from the Mach CC thread and MCC thread there are lists of restaurants which are under dining and not. Do update us once you know the merchant code too.

I think chances are slim to none. The bank will blame the merchant and saying that they don't have the control over mcc/terminal requested by the merchant.

Do check on the mcc first with cs anyway.

hi, i just swiped this card on the first of aug for petrol (first swipe, new card).

somehow when i login to hlb connect i still cant see the petrol transaction, what does it mean? transaction failed?
but my payments made to digi were shown in history on 1 aug as well.

Seem like the email notification from UOBPayonline is getting faster, I just did some payments by Wise Card and it came less than 5 minute  :thumbsup:
