QUOTE(fightingdragons @ Sep 19 2016, 09:43 AM) Some customers are spending RM600 and getting RM100 back so obviously they will lose money on these customers. I would like to know how to spend RM 600 and get RM 100. Please enlighten me/us. QUOTE(fightingdragons @ Sep 19 2016, 10:03 AM) Why not? Sadly the petrol rebate must be the machine outside...if the petrol rebate for the counter inside could work then I can hit the 2k tier with 100 bucks CB.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 19 2016, 11:04 AM) same like before (10xRM50 for ANY spending) so mean have to spend extra 1k (no points/cb) to compromise the other 1k to get the cb1st criteria: RM2k is for ANY spending. 2nd criteria: RM100 cb for selected categories (~RM1k) this is why to maximize it kawkaw, RM1k for ANY spending + RM1k for category spending. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 9 2016, 03:54 PM) think it the other way. with this new requirement, effective CB goes to 5%. so where does the 'missing' 5% goes? 1st 1K pay those "dan lain-lain" spending, e.g. car service, insurance, etc etc 2nd 1K goes to category spending. so, you got 10% for 2nd 1K (within categories), but 5% is actually indirectly paid for those 1st 1K (dan lain-lain) spending. that means your car service or insurance gotten 5% cashback, indirectly. disadvantage is you need to manage 2 pools of RM1k spending in order to maximize it the cb. well, that's just my view. QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 19 2016, 07:01 AM) I don't think hlb doesn't want you to earn the RM100 every month. It's just that they want more from you in return. There's no other card that will give RM100 a month regardless of the percentage of cash back. Actually for big spenders some card have no capping... 0.5% only though. But 0.5% of a big spender's bill can be much more than RM100. |

Now changed to RM2000 minimum requirement. Sigh. I think worth to cancel it oledi.
Imagine you spend RM2000 and the maximum cash rebate was capped at RM100. So its actually 5% only you get. Aduhh.. |
