Checked with ptptn officer,
1)sspn-i is without insurance, cannot deposit saving using cc, can withdraw money anytime, can deposit any amount.
2)sspn-i plus is with insurance, can deposit saving using cc, can only withdraw after 3years, need deposit follow their package,
I)max amount- pakej berlian is RM500 (200 saving, 300 takaful)
II)pakej nilam is RM300( 270 saving, 30 takaful)
It's not worth it to swipe wise cc for sspn-i plus, as the insurance portion is not recoverable, and it reduce the CB %.

The voice will be heard if the number is significant. Just like the case of CIMB imposing utilisation charge on flexible loan last year, they have to withdraw their plan after significant number of affected parties called for mass protest against CIMB

*out of topic.
Really? CITIBANK start to collect RM10 every month like other banks on flexi home loan, sometimes back in year 2014 or 2015.

Yeah, I also feel that HLB is more than happy for us to cancel their cards... sad.gif Now they revised the T&C so that RM 100 cash back is not easily earned anymore.

Am I the only rare one who is going to keep using the card? biggrin.gif

I'll route my insurance auto debit to this card and 2k is doable.

Even if I route my insurance I still cannot achieve 2k unless I setup a kiosk in office to help colleagues to pay TNB, mobile bills and mobile reloads. laugh.gif

Well, if only they decide to waive my AF, else I will definitely cancel it. laugh.gif

It is based on approval date, so it could be earlier than Oct's second week.
Yes, cash back will be gone but some said can ask them to transfer to CASA or other HLB card.

I'm yet to try mine, will try after I get my August cash back this month.

I don't think hlb doesn't want you to earn the RM100 every month. It's just that they want more from you in return. There's no other card that will give RM100 a month regardless of the percentage of cash back.

Personally I prefer the new rules as I typically spend 3k or more on cc. The 10 x RM50 transaction is too mah farn, need to keep track how many times I swipe. With the new rule I just need to make sure I use Wise card for everything.

Some customers are spending RM600 and getting RM100 back so obviously they will lose money on these customers. I think once they managed to get enough medium-big spenders (i.e. 2k and above), then it is time to cull the loss making customers.
