Erm, already upgraded more than a month ago and my payments and others went through with no issue. Nobody has reported issue with it until today. Let's see if this is an isolated case.

Now changed to RM2000 minimum requirement. Sigh. I think worth to cancel it oledi.

Imagine you spend RM2000 and the maximum cash rebate was capped at RM100. So its  actually 5% only you get.

Aduhh..

I don't recall seeing anywhere stating that second year is waived.

Also why apply for Plat when Gold is having the same benefits? You pay lesser AF.

Hence this comes to a conclusion. First year's AF is waived, that's for sure. Everyone gets that. Second year, you will need to pay for AF. Only less than 5 people out of more than 100 users on this thread have reported that they got their AF waived in second year. Thus, you cannot give an information that second year is automatically waived. Plus, I guess if you follow this thread, it is mentioned on first post to go for Gold instead of Plat. wink.gif

sama here. Called up, told me annual fee in Nov, will cancel in Oct too after getting Sept CB, will swipe RM100 in Oct to offset CB. But if due to mass cancellation and they decide to waive AF, then can keep smile.gif

Yup. Seems like I never thought of the Annual Fees. So we are getting less than 5%. But 5% still the best market rate in the case you can meet RM2k per month lah.

I'm considering cancel this card before the Annual fees comes.

It's not how many %, how much did they give you? You got effective 5% for RM100 monthly?
*
Any hassle to have two cards effective 5% for total RM100? Or 3 cards for RM150? Low-spenders have lots of options.

Low spender swipe 3k monthly? If you can meet their 2k minimum, there's no reason to change except you're too cheap skate to even pay the AF. 1 card or 2 cards for RM100 monthly? I prefer 1 card.

Sadly the petrol rebate must be the machine outside...if the petrol rebate for the counter inside could work then I can hit the 2k tier with 100 bucks CB.
*
Just curious. Swipe at counters to TopUp petrol card or touchngo? Then swipe Rm1000 at counter and Rm1000 at pumps, mobile bills, electricity, or groceries. Still get Rm100 CB.

As far as I know previously any transaction made at counters are not eligible for any cash rebate at all. Only at the machine outside sweat.gif

You are right, previously and now also not eligible for rebate. But now it doesn't matter anymore as it will be under retail tranx.

Eh but if I choose as petrol category and I swap at counter...it doesn't count for rebate right? It only counts for the 1k non-rebate transaction.
