Nope, it is still misleading. Experience does not means anything. Try to bring this up to court and see what the judge says.
Like you in general will just reverse your car from your house car porch without checking on traffic since you assume nobody will use that road, then in 1 fine day a lorry pass by and you do the same. At the end you have to stay in hospital due to serious injury. You sue that driver in court and using this excuse. What will be the end result?

Eh, sounds like an old friend return di. Still wanna troll the same topic... Just jumping on the +1 day. Already Human Nature and the rest have said 'better don't spend' to be safe.

By spending less (rm11820) to get d same CB, u also get less stuffs worth rm180 ie u still need to use rm180 to buy this stuffs.
*
Only if the stuff is essential. For example in the case of TNB bill no matter what you still will have to pay (maybe use another card which gives some smaller cashback). But if its unnecessary stuff then its different.

sry if the question is unrelated.

How to save credit card details (WISE card) into UOBPayOnline so I don't have to key in every time I go and pay something.

I can't seem to find a feature to save credit card details.

Help is much appreciated
*
I save the details in my password manager. So if I activate it on that page it will auto-type for me =p

Website itself no such feature. Which I think is safer la.

I applied for my WISE card late last year. My WISE card is pin and pay compliant, but does not have PayWave function.

Is it possible to request for a free replacement to a WISE card with PayWave function?  tongue.gif Since it is my main credit card, the PayWave function is a big help to me.
*
Off-topic as your main question already answered, but WISE is a horrible 'main credit card' (meaning used for general things). What's the benefit, really?

Your definition of main credit card is different from mine.  smile.gif Anyway, I respect your opinion.

For me, I charge the most transactions to my main credit card which is WISE card, for grocery, departmental and mobile transactions.

I have no intention at all to use my WISE card for general usage (not from 3 categories I mentioned). Then again, the amount of spending for general usage is lower, and is charged to my other credit cards.
*
Understood, really different meaning from 'main'.

If within your categories you easily hit 10X50 then WISE is good.

Yes, it should be either pin or signature right?
But my mom's encountered none... That is scary as whoever got the card he can use ultimately without any verification...
*
Under RM200 is possible to wave without signature.

But swipe without signature I haven't encountered.

im thinking, if i move my insurance premium monthly to WISE, which will be around RM1k, is it a good idea? will the insurance premium of RM1k considered into the RM2k spending?
i found the answer...
Q :My average spend per month on WISE Credit Card is RM1,000. How could I meet the minimum RM2,000 requirement?
A: WISE Credit Card gives out one of the highest cash backs. One way to meet the minimum RM2000 requirement is to consolidate all your purchases on your WISE credit card, for instance, pay for daily shopping, dining, groceries, insurance premiums, utility bills as well as enrol for auto-billing service.
*
That's what those who keep the card should do. As it is most cards don't give anything for insurance etc. At 5% I'll hold this card till AF coming up, then drop. Ikhwan, PBB VS, CIMB CR enough to cover those.

what is the difference?
*
Most of the WISE categories can get cashback from other cards too.

So more 'worth' for the extra RM1k to be spent on those that normally cannot earn cashback (insurance is the big one, things like pharmacy, gym membership etc also).

This is, of course, assuming that you have RM1k of those sort of expenses.

The comparison is between spending RM2k within the categories (get 5%) and then that extra RM1k maybe get 0.2% or something.... or between spending RM1k within and the extra RM1k to get 5% and then the remaining RM1k which is within categories can cover with Ikhwan or Public Bank Visa Signature or similar to get 5+% also.

I don't think hlb doesn't want you to earn the RM100 every month. It's just that they want more from you in return. There's no other card that will give RM100 a month regardless of the percentage of cash back.
*
Actually for big spenders some card have no capping... 0.5% only though.

But 0.5% of a big spender's bill can be much more than RM100.

It's not how many %, how much did they give you? You got effective 5% for RM100 monthly?
*
Any hassle to have two cards effective 5% for total RM100? Or 3 cards for RM150? Low-spenders have lots of options.

Low spender swipe 3k monthly? If you can meet their 2k minimum, there's no reason to change except you're too cheap skate to even pay the AF. 1 card or 2 cards for RM100 monthly? I  prefer 1 card.
*
Your preference is unimportant unless it has basis in actual pro/con. The fact is taking AF into account you get less than 5%. And that having multiple cards can give you more than the total rebate of WISE, without the minimum spending cap. And yes low spenders can spend different amount in different months, which is not possible with WISE.

Here we just want to get the best benefits from our cards. Almost no-one remained loyal to OCBC Titanium card, nor to Maybank2Kard Amex (this one more because at least still has some benefit), nor to AEON Watami. This change with WISE means the benefits are now less than various 5% cards, so why not use those instead?

If you sure meet the 2K minimum with regular spend then keeping this card may make sense (as long as you don't forget AF in your calculation). For those that will be spending more just to hit it, then cut the card. So hard to understand?

You speak for yourself only is it? RM2000 is damn low spending for those age 30 and above. Petrol, Groceries, Food, Insurance, Utilities.... confirm over RM2k la for family
*
Not all of those are charge-able to credit cards. Groceries some may spend a lot but prefer the freshness at market. Food some may not patronize CC-accepting places very often, either because eating at home or simply the shops they go too don't accept CC.

Only Petrol and Utilities confirm can use CC. Not many households can >2k just based on those, hence why so many in this thread want to 'throw in' insurance.

Of course if you're the sort who dine out to CC accepting places and/or shop at Giant/Mydin/Tesco then easy to hit 2k. Then again may not be worth it if you already have other cards which will give you 5%.

QUOTE(wchinwai @ Sep 23 2016, 02:10 PM)
Spending all depends on individuals...

for example family of four

insurance - 800
groceries (milk powder, diapers) - these can easily reach 300-400
mobile phone -150
unifi - 169
petrol - 300 (husband and wife)
electricity - 200

Almost touch 2000 right?
which reminds me....i need to "transfer" insurance to this not so "wise" card....haha
*
800 per month insurance? Ngam bo. Other than that, amounts almost matching my spending except I've got way cheaper mobile bills (yay U mobile).

But Unifi settled by PBB VS, groceries also (along with CIMB CR for online purchase of milk powder and diapers). Petrol settled by MBB Ikhwan Mastercard, Aeon Big for Sundays and misc. spending.

Why should I move spending from better cards (6% or 5%, not 4+% like Wise in best case)?

QUOTE(attentional @ Sep 23 2016, 02:22 PM)
I buy groceries from NSK market, which is fresh market and accept credit card. Hero market also can accept. What is the average household income in Malaysia? It is RM7k. Don't tell me RM2k is not doable. The reason we see a lot of people complaining in this thread wanna cancel is because most are single and fresh grad here. But I believe HLB is not so dumb, they're focusing on majority which can easily hit 2k per month. People who cannot hit RM2k per month is minority.
*
I'm married with two kids and household income above average, but I almost never hit 2k on any one credit card. My groceries mostly not CC chargeable (NSK and Hero are expensive wei), and we eat in chinese places which mostly don't accept CC (or only for >RM50).

No way 'majority' can easily hit 2k per month just on this card.

Just re-joined HLB (dumped my Mach card back in 2014) with WISE card to take advantage of the 7/7 promo - https://www.hlb.com.my/en/personal-banking/...paign-2023.html

WISE cashback is monthly right? If spent on next weekend 29th should be still can? How does HLB handle transaction on weekend in July but posting date in August (their example in website is posting date on weekday will still get cashback due to following transaction date, but I see in this thread cashback is first of the month so will be pushed to the next month?)

Hi guys, based on this new cc promo, does this mean I can sign up a new cc, then top-up e-wallet RM3K (say RM1.5K TNG and RM1.5K ShopeePay) and I'll automatically get RM250 cash back? (RM50+RM100+RM100).

Will this stack up with the existing 8% cash back? Meaning +RM15.

Looking to sign up for a HLB Wise cc but RinggitPlus and CompareHero macam no special gifts.

It says shopping, dining, and travel, you sure your ewallet topup fall under that category?

You lucky then. Anyway no point to target this campaign anymore, as your spend today will no longer be under it.
